Wonderful hostel, great and helpful staff. I loved the vibe, breakfast was great, awesome location right near Montmartre. I wish there had been lockers in the bedrooms but otherwise rooms were nice.

A nice hostel in a really cool place of Paris. The lounge area feels a little cold and would benefit from having a couch or two, but otherwise the hostel has a nice character. A little bit pricey as well.

Excellent location, staff and facilities. The 4 bed dorms were spacious and had their own ensuites. We stayed in two different rooms, mixed and all female, and the only complaint was in one room you had to press the shower button continuously as you showered otherwise the water turned off. A tad annoying but achievable.

While the kitchen and common area were lots of fun, and very clean, I'd like for Le Village to work on keeping soap in the common area bathroom -- I don't know if it's just me, but I can't really tolerate a first-world country not having that in a bathroom in which people from all over the world use. The bathroom however is cleaner than the European average. The other issue is that the Common Area's Wi-Fi barely worked, please address that. Otherwise I had a lot of fun, and met a lot of people.

Hostel was great, except... the shower was *awful*. And I don't just mean because you have to hit it every 10 seconds to keep it on (that's irritating, but life continues); there was basically no water pressure. I say this as a guy who has showered outside more than I'd care to admit... Hard to recommend for this reason alone.

The shower could use some help, there was barely any water pressure to really take a nice shower after a long day in Paris, otherwise the hostel was very good! Thank you! -Marcus

The hostel was okay but the rooms were very small, no hanging space, coat hooks or anything. The bathroom was moldy and although there was hot water the timer on the shower didn't work (you had to press it every 2 or 3 seconds so showering was very difficult). The location is close to some big tourist sites (Moulin Rouge & Sacre Couer) but it's a dodgy part of town. The breakfast was quite good as a continental brekky (the reason we chose this hostel) but maybe doesn't outweigh the bad points.

It's a nice place to stay a few days, room was good, far away from touristic places but near from the Metro. The wi-fi wasn't good and internet connection through the PC's was expensive.

The reviews I read prior to my stay made me weary of the location but in reality it wasn't bad. Close to Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur (phenomenal view) and Metros. I would definitely recommend Le Village to friends. The staff were super friendly. The lounge is awesome. Great character. Great breakfast. The only small complaint was wifi and paying for internet that worked BUT it was available when you needed it. I heard some complaints about showers but ours was clean and had hot water.
