Great hostel, great location, great staff. Only complaint was that the drains in the bathrooms smelt bad

Near the metro, clean, friendly staff, nice common area. Once I discovered the heating system in my room that was good as well.

I stood 1 night, nice people, responsable and secure. The area is not of course a fancy neighborhood but i guess is not a problem. Still it has some advantages the train station is real close. Thanks you guys.

The hostel was nice....EXCEPT the room I was in.... one whole wall is COVERED in black mildew/mold! Even if the bigger problem costs too much to fix, there should be someone in there a minimum of once a week wiping in down with bleach to get rid of it... it's not healthy. The hot water didn't work and the girl who went to the front desk was told "Yeah, its because the people upstairs need/use it." And the internet wouldn't load on my apple...another kid said he HAD to use Internet Explorer...

My overall experience was very good, I only stayed there 2 nights - I rated staff as poor because the 3 guys at reception were not too fiendly. everytime I needed to ask a qustion they seemed anoyed by the questions. compared with other hostel staff in other countries where staff are always happy to help, theses guys didn't seem to happy to answer questions. There was a girl when I checked out, she was nice. I am now in Madrid and the staff attitude is perfect !

great location, friendly staff, clean rooms and a nice terrace. have to pay for lockers, but they let you keep your bag there after you've checked out until midnight :)

The location is really convenient with the metro stop a few blocks away. There is a great view of the scare coeur from your window, and the rooms are a nice size. The best part about the hostel is the staff though, great club recommendations and very very friendly :) The croissants for early morning breakfast are amazing too!

A nice small hostel located close to Sacre Coeur. Area is a little dodgy but not dangerous. I was a female traveler traveling solo and as long as you are aware of your surrounds and belongings and ignore the scum trying to sell cheap watches and perfume along the streets and around the train station, they won't bother you and will move on to the next traveler. Breakfast is excellent, fresh and plenty of variety and the hostel offers secure luggage storage if you arrive early.

the staf should focus on earn money, not on teaching the guests how to be polite.

We LOVED IT. The breakfast was great, the rooms were cute and clean, there was heat (it was COLD while we were there!), the staff was helpful, they had free wi-fi, and it was in a great location (right by Sacre Cour and Moulin Rouge).

Everything was good except for the location. The rooms were clean, the place was fun, and breakfast was good. However, the location is sketchy at night, especially for two women traveling. Coming home from late night activities was scary because the area was not really a great place to be after dark. Other than that, the stay was pleasant and my friend and I enjoyed ourselves.

Only major negative is the hostel doesn't have lockers in the rooms. But they will store your things for you if you'd like the extra security. Otherwise an overall good stay. Internet access, decent breakfast, pretty location right at the bottom of the hill to Sacre Couer, clean, helpful staff.

The staff was really helpful to me, and the whole experience was very positive. Would recommend Le Village! I was in a room with 4 beds and I think that is the max number of beds per room. It worked out. The bathroom was small, but clean, and I met some great people there.
