There is a supermarket Dia% just in front of the hostel, they provide a kitchen so you can save a lot of money and time having dinner cooking in the hostel. We thought the street from the metro to the hostel was dark and dangerous after 10pm but some times we could see some families on the way so maybe it was an impression. The room was very comfortable clean and beautiful. The staffs are very friendly and speak many languages. We liked the hostel very much!

The staff was great, they speak a lot of languages, and they were of help giving us information about the city. The breakfast is excellent!! The location not the best, but not the worst.

Good location being near to Sacre Cour which is a great place to go for an evening drink on the steps and view the city as the sun sets. A bit of a trek to the main tourist attractions though. Not too cheap but seems similar to other hostels in Paris. I'd stay here again if /when I head back.

This was our first hostel of our 5 month euro trip. We werent sure what to expect from european hostels so waited until now to reveiw after staying at over 13 other hostels in our 5 weeks within europe and this was still our worst experience. Staff were very rude and tended to ignore you and when asked questions treated it like a massive hassle. Breakfast was the worst so far. Rooms were clean however. Not the best location

The only complain i have, is that the bathroom had no ventilation, and therefore the cealing and the bathroom courtin had a lot of mold and was very disgusting. The bed where very noisy. The breakfast was very good.

It is interesting because I was pleased with my stay here, but I put average on a couple of topics. In direct comparison to Vintage Hostel just half a km away, I would say they are about equivalent. I love the nearness of the Palace to this hostel, but the other one is slightly closer to the train station. I stayed in the shared 2 bedroom and it was a very nice and spacious bed.

Great location. Well placed for metro, supermarkets, patisserie etc. Short stroll to beautiful Sacre Coeur. Great free breakfast. Disappointing cooking facilities for evening meals. A microwave but only 3 electric rings for whole hostel to use. Plenty of seats in 'eating area'. Pity most hostellers sat behind laptops/mobile phones. In my youth, hostellers chatted and shared travel ideas. Not cheap for our small twin room but clean/comfortable. Quiet night then noisy lift + doors at 5 am?

Good hostel and very close to the Sacre Couer and Place de Tertre. Also, the nearest metro line is only a 2-min walk away, which is good. But, the hostel environment wasn't very social and the showers were annoying. You had to keep pressing the button every (about) 20 seconds to keep the water running, and the water pressure definitely left something to be desired. Also, wifi is only available in the common room downstairs. Breakfast is included but it only goes until 9:30.

We stayed in a triple bed ensuite room. Great hostel, friendly staff, cute rooms, warm atmosphere in the lobby. Liked the football table touch and the guy who serves breakfast is so friendly! Also great for the fact it's 15min walk from gare du nord for the Eurostar, as well as right by the saver coer and the metro stations to go else where.

It was a really good hostel to be in in Paris, considering that it's primarily suited for young backpackers, and I was traveling with my "old" parents. Very good location and the staff were always helpful. Breakfast was good, although a little variation in the condiments (e.g., consider adding liver pate?) would be nice. The installation of several surveillance cameras in public passages were reassuring. Wifi reception was limited to the hostel lobby/hang out area, but printing was for free.

Good location, nice staff who speak English. It's right next to the subway and a lot of restaurants around the hostel. It's pretty good for the money.

Gotta love free breakfast. Staying at Le Village was really fun! The communal space is really convenient for meeting new travelers or for finding someone to go for drinks. I loved that it was just a block away from the Sacré Coeur. The staff were having some technical difficulties when we arrived, but they were very nice and worked quickly through it. Everyone was polite and welcoming.

Cosy hostel, great place to meet fellow travellers. If I had any complaints it would be that there were no communal showers for when your room mates are hogging the ensuite, otherwise no issues at all :)
