This was one of the nicer hostels we stayed at. It was quieter than the other hostels situated on main streets, but still really close to the metro. The bad: There were blood stains on my pillow case and clumps of hair on the tiles of our en suite shower (ironically right next to the sign that asks guests to make sure to clean up clumps of hair out of the drain). The good: Staff were really friendly and it's great that they keep tabs on the day storage (pre and post check in/out) with name tags.

About 2 blocks away from the metro so its really easy to get anywhere you want in the city in about 10 minutes or so. The staff was great and accommodated all our needs and we were very happy with our choice to stay there! Only complaint is that there was no hand soap in the bathroom, but using your body wash for a few nights doesnt hurt.

Had to pay for the internet, which didn't have the best connection.

The bathroom smelled so bad that we had to keep the WC door clothes. Worse than an outdoor urinal. Worse than an ish hole in the middle of a South African township. It was never CLEANED. NEVER!

Good location - 1 min. walk to the metro which takes you to central paris quickly (but not within walking distance to most sights). Security also good - key card to get into the room areas, and lockers available. Cons:internet was incredibly slow - I have stayed in many hostels around Europe and North Africa - this was the slowest internet connection I have experienced. Bathrooms not clean, weird smells from the drains and no ventilation. Very expensive.

the wall is dirty. For the bathing room, water pressure and water temperature is not high enough. The so called free wifi is not usable. Then I paid €1 for 15 mins to use the computer in the lobby. It is suck. The speed is also too slow and is nearly unusable. The LCD is in Low definition. The location is near Montmartre which could be unsafe at night. suggest to live in south of the Seine River. And €41.15 for 1 night is not worth.

The free security lockers in reception are good. Bathroom and toilet are tiny, but clean. Pros and cons of ensuite in a shared room - nice and close, but everyone can here toilet noises. Directions on web site were poor, but after getting there, it wa s ok.If I

Very good hostel, in an excellent location close to Montmartre. Excellent facilities and staff, but could pay more attention to the accuracy of the information on how to get there given in the Hostelworld booking e-mail, which is WRONG, don't go left when you LEAVE PARIS-NORD, GO RIGHT!

This is an excelent hostel. I loved location and breakfast. The staff was very hepful and speak a lot of lenguages. Is pretty clean. Another good point is that has a kitchen, so you can save money by cooking there. I was on a private room, so I don't know how are shared. i will stay there again definitely!!

Didn't spend much time in the hostel because there is so much to see in Paris, but it was great for what we needed it for. Looks kinda sketchy on the outside but much nicer on the inside. The security isn't bad, but if you are staying in a room with people you don't know there are no extra lockers or anything in the room, you need to store your valuables downstairs and pay money to use a locker. Overall very clean, and a great breakfast included!

Positive: Location is great, nice old house, friendly staff, very safe, breakfast included, nice terrace. Negative: Towels are to be rent for 1 Euro (which is cheap, but would be nice to be known before), it's very noisy (street and hall/neighbors), room is very small (no wardrobe, cabinet, anything), it's somewhat run down, mold in bathroom Knowing these issues, i neverthless would book it for few nights again, because the location is awesome and the (english speaking) staff is very nice.

Not in the best area but there's a subway near by and so its easy to get to and from. Room was decent but the wifi was pretty terrible, even on the desktops available. Which, by the way, you had to pay for. Free breakfast but it wasn't fantastic. A little expensive if you don't book in advance but, yay, that's Paris. If your staying in the city a week, I'd go with an apartment. Most of the time, it works out cheeper.

A great hostel in a fantastic location. Nice kitchen and common area with a simple but lovely free breakfast (always a bonus). The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great hostel! The rooms are super cute and the building has a ton of character. Things were clean and the staff was helpful. There were no lockers in the rooms, but key card access was required. My only complaint is that the bunk beds were really squeaky whenever anyone moved at night.

No hand soap in the bathrooms or ensuites, not good! Please add this. Also very creaky noisy bunk beds in the room I stayed. Otherwise a good hostel in a good location.

The building has an interesting vibe as the main floor use to be a restaurant. The breakfast in the morning is good and filling as you can pretty much eat as much as you want. If you're on a high enough floor and on the right side of the building you'll have a view of Basilique du Sacré-Cœur which is beautifully lit up at night. The internet was a bit dodgy while we were there and they could use a new hot plate in the kitchen area as one of the plates doesn't work.
