The hostel is in a nice location and the rooms are clean, but very small. Some of the rooms need attention--some repainting, repairs, and updating would help a lot. Rooms facing the street may have a slightly better view, but they are also very noisy. Not a bad place if you just need a place to stay for a night or two. Booked through the web and prompt replies received and good info provided.Excellent welcome by staff on arrival.Good secure storage until our room was available.Close to the Metro.Good to have a kitchen for self catering, but more pans and cups would have been beneficial.Good continental breakfast.Booked through the web and prompt replies received and good info provided.Excellent welcome by staff on arrival.Good secure storage until our room was available.Close to the Metro.Good to have a kitchen for self catering, but more pans and cups would have been beneficial.Good continental breakfast....Close

If I go back to Paris, I will definitely plan to stay here. The location was excellent and easy to find. The staff - Benjamin specifically, was fantastic and so nice and helpful. There were a lot of cool people hanging out and rehearsing music, etc. It was a fun atmosphere, but we also had our room, so we had privacy if we wanted it. Trip type - honeymoon. Good hostel, clean until dormmates got to it but was clean the next day. A little far from downtown but right on the metro line. Would be an excellent hostel if 'net was free.Good hostel, clean until dormmates got to it but was clean the next day. A little far from downtown but right on the metro line. The hostel was really cute with a lot of character. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was pretty small and the shower was tiny, but towels and breakfast were included in the cost. Overall it was a pretty good stay and I would return. The hostel was really cute with a lot of character. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean and good located Hostel, about ten minute walking to Sacre Coeur and really in the heart of Montmartre. But very noisy: to have a good night sleep is almost imposible (the building is very loud and acoustic, walls are thin, every door is slamming and creaking). You can't say, that the staff is good prepared: they don't know, what time metro run, where's the post or mailbox and others. And payable internet access..., and coffee was disgusting.. In general: average. MaciejClean and good located Hostel, about ten minute walking to Sacre Coeur and really in the heart of Montmartre. This was my first hostel experience and Ben the front desk guy was great, very helpful. Stayed in a twin bed room. I\'m a plus size gal, and to me the bathrooms and showers were small by my Canadian standards. My traveling friend had trouble with the taps, and couldn\'t figure out how to get hot water... if this happens to you, ask the front desk.
There was a sign on the front door indicating it would be locked after 10pm, but it wasn\'t during our stay.

At night this place is real dodgey (there are lots of trannys, and sex clubs), it's quite far from central Paris. All the main attractions Tour Eiffel, triomphe and the museums are about 30-40 mins away. A friend of mine was staying in the area and got her Passport. I wouldnt reccomend this hostel because its outta the way, not in a greatest area, and its really touristy. If youre looking for a hostel stay in St. Christophers, unless youre into transexuals...At night this place is real dodgey (there are lots of trannys, and sex clubs), it's quite far from central Paris.
