Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Lebo's. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating of everything from my late night airport transfer to my endless questions about the area and where to eat.

Absolutely loved this place. Beautiful grounds, nice space to hang out (balcony, fire pit, lots of picnic tables etc). Great base for their great cycling tours of Soweto.

Anyone who goes to South Africa must sleep in this Hostel. This Hostel is located in Soweto and has a great vibe! Moreover, this is the place that runs the so famous BICYCLE TOUR around Soweto which is a must for everyone who goes to South Africa. The tour was the best thing I have done in South Africa and Phily, the guide, is excelent truly passionate about his job!!!

Good vibe, and Soweto is great. But the dorm rooms are packed, too many beds per room, and I think there are not quite enough showers. Everything is quite expensive (bed, food, tours, towel, wifi, ...) and I don't see why because the neighbourhood is very cheap. Also, if I have to pay for Wifi, at least I expect it to be available 24 hrs. It's a great place to hang out though.

Lebo's makes anyone who visits for a few days feel like they belong in Soweto - one of the most historic neighborhoods in the world. A stay is guaranteed to help you meet new and interesting people, better understand the locals, and give you a better perspective on the world. Awesome workers and interesting fellow-travelers make this a must-stay if you're in the Jo'burg area...other "Jo'burg" hostels are miles away from civilization. Also some competitive foosball-beware of TImo's skills! -Troy
