I had an amazing time at Lebo's. The staff was awesome and made my stay there fun. The food was really good. Definitely do the bike tour (duh). Ask them to book you Fefe's company to take you where you need to go. They were wonderful, and took care of me even though I needed to go into the middle of nowhere.

Definetely worth spending a few nights to experience Soweto properly. Great bicykle tours, I would recommend those even if you're not staying at the hostel, If you plan to self-cater (the food at the hostel is good, but a tad pricey), it might be a good idea to bring some food with you, as there aren't that many opportunities for groceryshopping in the immediate surroundings. Had a great stay, would definetely stay there again!

Lebo's did come out on the wrong foot, mix up with bookings. Lot's of calls about a trip I had not booked And the pickup from train station was not there, so I had to call to remind them. No personal lockers, no el-contacts in rooms. U pay extra for everything, b'fast, Internet and so on. Some of the staff are really good,,

I have never been in your hostel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First you let me pay 10% in advance, some days later you tell me there is no free room. And... the advance is not paid back!

Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Lebo's. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating of everything from my late night airport transfer to my endless questions about the area and where to eat.

Absolutely loved this place. Beautiful grounds, nice space to hang out (balcony, fire pit, lots of picnic tables etc). Great base for their great cycling tours of Soweto.

Anyone who goes to South Africa must sleep in this Hostel. This Hostel is located in Soweto and has a great vibe! Moreover, this is the place that runs the so famous BICYCLE TOUR around Soweto which is a must for everyone who goes to South Africa. The tour was the best thing I have done in South Africa and Phily, the guide, is excelent truly passionate about his job!!!

Good vibe, and Soweto is great. But the dorm rooms are packed, too many beds per room, and I think there are not quite enough showers. Everything is quite expensive (bed, food, tours, towel, wifi, ...) and I don't see why because the neighbourhood is very cheap. Also, if I have to pay for Wifi, at least I expect it to be available 24 hrs. It's a great place to hang out though.
