About Lebo's Soweto Backpackers
Welcome to Lebo's!
We are located in Orlando West in Soweto, the hot spot of the 1976 student uprising and home to two Nobel Peace Prize winners; Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. The backpacker provides a unique opportunity for travellers to experience 'township life'. Here you can walk the streets, play soccer with the kids, sing your heart out at the church, go for a bike tour around the community and go out at lively local pubs and night clubs.
When exhausted after all adventures, relax in the peacful garden, enjoy the African beat from the jembe drum - and learn to play! - and meet new people around the camp fire at night.
We offer dorms, doubles, single and camping. Self catering kitchen and meals on request.
