We really liked this place ? kind of a hotel-type. Daniel, the owner, was very nice and gave us some useful hints about travelling and eating in Leipzig. The place is about 6 tram stops from the city center. The bathroom is shared, but with two other rooms only. Our double room was really big, nice equipped, clean and - come on, where do you have a bouquet of lilies on your table? :) Strongly recommended!We really liked this place ? kind of a hotel-type. Let the customer pay when they check in that they meet the keeper and surely money gets there. I can't recommend the Leipzig Guesthouse enough! This was my third stay and it improves every time. It is the best budget accommodation I have ever stayed in - very clean, excellent facilities (each apartment has it's own kitchen and bathroom) and some lovely thoughtful touches in your room from Daniel the host (flowers, chocolates, robes) who is very friendly and helpful. It is a little out of town, but there is a tram stop very close and a Lidl round the corner, so that makes up for it!I can't recommend the Leipzig Guesthouse enough! I arrived when it was getting dark and not being familiar with eastern-european cities, and deciding to walk instead of taking a tram, it was not the nicest walk. But then, during the day, the next day, it all looked different and it is easy to get to the city center with the tram. Only a tram ride away from the Hbf, as there were four of us we had an apartment with kitchen and bathroom to ourselves - it was great! There is a supermarket just around the corner, it was great to be able to cook up our own food after a month of eating out.
