Excellent hostel. Only complaint was confusion over final bill. We thought we got a downgrade because we were asked to choose between two rooms and we just asked for the cheaper room. When asked how much we would owe at check out, the hostel manager told us we owed less than what hostelworld told us we would owe. When we checked out, they pulled out the hostelworld bill and told us we owed the original price. It was still a good value stay, but we needed to replan our tight budget.

Awesome staff, nice view, near the beach, really quiet place to stay. Just bad that the shared shower is broken :/

A good place to stay for young folks in transit, not a place to stay in for a week as we did. It is a very small, hot building on one level, which is very hot. The air con rooms are best, but have no shaded place to sit. The furniture is very spartan, and the bright lights in the central corridor at night shine strongly through the fretwork panels above all doors, which is totally unnecessary in the en-suite rooms, we resorted to newspaper and pins to block it off to get some sleep.

Clean, spacious, nice tv, good breakfast. Be prepared for the steps up to the house but it is easy to find. You should take a torch but isn't really necessary. Would stop again even if it is just to keep fit

Very friendly staff, beautiful view from the balcony, nice breakfast (try the omelette). The seventy steps up are challenging, but the view is worth it. Do bring a flashlight, because the alley you're walking through at night is very dark. The quiet and beautiful beach is close by, and so are the restaurants and cafes.

The Lemon House is well worth the walk up the stairs to get there. We stayed in the private room with bathroom. The view was amazing. The staff were super nice and very helpful. Very clean. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Maybe add a fan in the dormitory room... only one is definitely not enough!

very nice stay, staff so kind and friendly, good vibes in the house and amazing breakfast! The only bad thing is to climb all the stairs to reach the guesthouse, but it worth it!

Very clean and the beds are comfortable. A very quiet place, there is only one dorm of four beds, the others are private rooms. I liked the small place atmosphere, although someone could find it too quiet. It's quite hot in the dorm but they have extra fans if you ask for it. Lovely staff, they are so cute and friendly!

The location of the homestay is good, close to the centre i and to a beautiful beach ( 15 minutes walking ). The rooms are simple( overpriced) but nice and there is a beautiful view from the terrace. It was a strange that, apart from our arrival and breakfast time, the guests were totally alone in the house...No staff for any need. We had booked with hostel world and as I changed my booking from a cheaper room to a more expensive one they considered my account as a penalty! breakfast is poor.

The hostel itself was great - looked nice and had great views. The staff were superb and the breakfast was great! The room we had was very basic, with poor ventilation and no real window. We found hairs in the bed, suggesting the sheets had not been changed. The walk up to the hostel goes down a dirty alleyway, which is a bit off putting. But it is very close to the great nearby beach and not far at all from the centre of town.
