The location is perfect, the staff is helpful, they have a nice lounge area downstairs and plenty of bathrooms. I had a great time there and would definitely recommend this hostel!

Great place to stay in one of the best neighborhoods of the most beautiful city in the world. One block from Leblon beach. The dorms have confortable wooden beds (not those noisy metal ones, if you know what I mean...) with big lockers below it. The bathrooms are good, individual, clean and have a nice size. The staff is great and very helpful. Did great friendships there. Tip: Bar should sell beer before 5 PM ;) I definitely recommend. I'll certainly go back there.

It was a great experience staying in this hostel. Good location, nice Beach and safe area. Very good atmosphere, lots of young people from all over the world. Made some good friends. Hanging out together. highly recommended for travellers to Rio.

Lemon Spirit its the best option in Rio. Well located, just one block from Leblon beach and lots of bars, restaurants nearby. Its a safe and clean place with a complete beakfast (fruits, cheese, bread, etc). Its easy to chill out and meet people in the nice terrace. Nino is such a great guy, who treat you as his best friend. I recomend this place and ill be back soon.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in Brazil so far. The staff was really nice and helpful. Their welcome caipirinha was amazing!! The hostel is well-located, only 2 blocks from the beach, and you can easily take buses (one block from the hostel) to the main attractions in Rio. The bedroom i slept was confortable and the best thing is that there was air conditioning! :) The toilets are clean and individual (there are about 4/floor). I do reccomend this hostel!

Most people I guess would find this place a really cool place and it is. But, they have a retard working nights who even doesnt understand basic portuguese like I have a reservation or who can provide you with the wifipassword if you happen to come early in the morning. And the bunkbeds really sucks, period! Not to mension how cramped the rooms get when you squeeze in 2 times 3 beds on 5 square meters with luggage and all. No lockers in the rooms. Breakfast is good (like everywhere in rio).

Great hostel in the middle of Leblon, probably the best neighbourhood in Terms of Security and only one block away from the beach. The Crowd in the hostel is definitely up for party every night, what took away little bit of the charackter because i prefer the kind of hostel where people sit in the evenings and talk about their life. But thats only my perspective and you'll definitely also find some interesting people for a chat. The Staff, especially Nino, is amazing, so really enjoyed the stay!

The person who checked me in was incompetent, and since the beds were not designated, there was a problem with turnover and clearing vacated beds. The other hostel staff did their best to compensate. The bathroom door didn't close properly (not to mind lock!), which isn't great is a small 4 bed dorm. Only 2 computers which were always busy.

What can I say about this place......ONE WORD "AMAZING" you're welcomed with free caparhina and you get a really good breakfast included. Security A1, two TV in one on the ground floor and a second on the 3rd; I watched TV and ate free breakfast before heading out in the Rio sun. The hostel has lockers you can either bring your own padlock or they supply you with one. the showers were clean every morning and the water was hot. All the staff spoke English ( Renato and Lucas). we found just the perfect hostel we thought leblon is far away... but no, it is at a perfect location. very, very safe lot of fun, nice staff. good tours and nice breakfast just 5 minutes to walk to the beach... can recommend 100%

I'll spare the long winded review..Simply put I will look no place else for accommodations in Rio. Lucas and his staff were top notch. Lots of love from the states(Baltimore),keep up the great work!!!

I had a great time in Lemon Spirit, Lucas and Nino were great and very friendly. The beds were comfy and the showers were good. The location is just perfect! 1 block away from the beach and nearby lots of food places. If you have the chance make sure to go to Lemon Spirit!

Lemon Spirit is the only cheap option in Leblon and has a great location two blocks from the beach and close to lovely bars and restaurants. It's a really safe area, the hostel is very clean with powerful hot showers and Lucas is excellent on the front desk. Breakfast is excellent. However, not all the staff are as helpful or speak English, and I had real difficulty checking in late at night. I also tried to arrange an airport transfer but didn't get a reply.

Great hostel, the staff are super helpful!! In a really nice part of Rio, very close to Leblon beach. The only bad thing... DONT GET THE TRANSFER TO ILHA GRANDE!!! A lady picked 5 of us up in a sedan (with all our bags)... i had to sit in the front seat with a massive backpack between my legs for 3hours. The lady was very rude and drove like a manic the whole way.
