The staff here were SO lovely and helpful - they let me leave my bag there for a week and welcomed me with open arms when I returned. I would definitely stay here again! Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, fast wifi and the best caipirinhas I had in Rio. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lemon Spirit is a nice hostel, but feels slightly on the chain side of things. Great atmosphere and location though, and it has a great vibe for hanging out with people. Breakfast is pretty good, rooms are clean, and there are enough bathrooms for everyone to share. All in all, I would recommend. However the area of Leblon I found a bit boring compared to Santa Theresa.

This is a VERY well thought out hostel. The cleanliness and security is good. Plenty of lockers, and Wifi works well. The only negative is the distance to Ipanema, Copacobana and Lapa (places you will likely visit) - but these are a bus ride away. The hostel has clearly been thoroughly thought out as a hostel. Definitely recommended.

It was really nice to stay in a nice, clean room. The staff was helpful on many occasions from tracking our laundry down from another hostel we stayed to hailing a taxi cab for the airport. I really liked it here and I'd recommend it to anyone!

Lemon Spirit was a very good place to stay. All was very cleaned. The atmosphere was ok, probably they should try with a dinner at the evening in order to gather more people, but you can just meet a lot of persons anyway. All good, excelent location and the staff quite nice. Regards

Great hostel. this is a slight upscale hostel in an upscale residential neighborhood. I have been to all of south america and this is argubaly the most expensive city and location. (hotels around here cost around 200 pounds a night at high season). People in the hostel are also slightly more classy, and many are working young professionals from london (there are some backpackers on a tight budget like those you found in Peru but most were here on an expensive vacation). easy to meet people

I wish like all hostels I stayed at they would accept Credit Cards I found its a security hassle to take out cash. Furthermore there was only one cash machine that worked in the neighborhood (at least with my card) I must have used it too often and my account was accessed and robbed.

This is a party place, but actually, I stayed there over a week for work and so was not partying and still did fine. So, this hostel can accommodate lots of different types of people as long as they are willing to be flexible. Friendly staff, safe. Not an authentic Brazilian experience necessarily, but easy to walk out the door and have that on your own

Excelente. El mejor hostel que visité durante mi estadía en Rio. Muy recomendable. Toda la onda en uno de los barrios mas lindos. Cerca de la playa. Nos encantó a mi y a mi novia. :)
