I absolutely loved my stay at the Lenin hostel, it was in a great part of Barcelona- a 10 to 15 minute walk from Las Ramblas but far away enough to escape all the noise and get a good nights sleep. The room was not ready at 1 pm , which is when we were supposed to check in, however, we ended up receiving a room with an en suite bathroom as compensation. Friendly, helpful staff, not great in the appliance department (they didn't have a fridge, stove etc.) but overall a great place to stay!

Good location, nice staff, good price. We arrived there before the check-in time but the receptionist guy said we can leave the luggages in a safety room. After that we could check-in at 1 p.m.

Very nice building, in the top center, rooms are not the same what they show on pics. extremly noisy.. you hear every single word, from room around you, you can hear everything, all day and night.. good was we didn't over sleep and there is no need to set your alarm clock for 7:30, there was so much noise.. The check out at 12 sounds great, but if you cannot sleep..than there is no point. I like big towels. No kitchen. If it would be for 30€/room, pefect value, but it wasnt... Friendly staff.

You def get what you pay for. It is noisy but if ur gonna all day and just using it to sleep its ideal. However. Sheets were little dirty and it gets very cold in rooms at night. We stayed in march. Walls are thin so noise does travel but again it's a place to sleep. Bathrooms were average clean and well kept. Staff was friendly.... I would stay again if I only need a place to sleep at night because perfect for that.

"You can have you room at 10.00" - they said, but it wasn't ready at 14:00. After I said that for them the receptionist made the cleaning fast, but not so thoroughly...

Perfect location, very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was very clean but the shared bathrooms were not so clean. Also, a toilet that is separate from the showers would be good! A very noisy hostel - the sound travels across the tiles so you can hear every guest coming home from their night out - otherwise a great place to stay in a great location.

Location is spot on, smack in the middle of town, close to the metro and in a very nice area. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would advise bringing earplugs as the walls are quite thin and the tiled floors means that the sound travels quite well. Great hostel for the price!
