Leonardo, the owner, is a very nice and friendly guy. As soon as we arrived he welcomed us, tell us everything about Florence and was very welcoming. The room was old fashion, Big, and nice. Quiet and clean. EXCELLANT location. 2 min walk to Duomo. I highly recommand this hotel. Nothing bad to say.

Very pleasant stay in the heart of Florence, perfect staff, perfect big room, perfect price. Definitely booking it again if coming back to Florence.

Leonardo House was a great deal on this Italy vacation (Rome, Florence, Venice). It was located not too far from the train station and it was an easy walk. The map that Leonardo emailed us and also the maps on Google Earth made finding the hostel very easy. The rooms were large and comfortable. Ours was a bit on the cold side, but it was later adjusted. Beds were comfortable and the whole experience with this hostel was very pleasant. We felt very safe inside and outside the hostel. Thank u, LH!

Leonardo is so adorable, you won't stay elsewhere in case of returning to Florence. He gave us exact instructions what to see, where to eat tasty and cheap enough. Probably, the best hostel in Florence.

The staff is nice and give very useful information. The room is okay when compare to the price you pay. The bathroom is very clean, considering that it is shared bathroom. The location is great.

Location is excellent. Really clean. Friendly staff and very helpful. Good value for money. Microwave, fridge and jug are the only kitchen facilities - no actual kitchen. Had a really easy chilled out stay here.

Leonardo is a very cool guy and told us everything we needed to visit the city! The place was cool,wa had a private double room clean and confortable but not so charming,without view on the street... anyway we were here for sleeping! No kitchen either...

The room, bed and bathroom were big and clean. I like the fact that the toilet and the shower are together and for one individual at one time.

Leonardo was a very helpful chap, gave us a good run-down on where to go in Florence. The rooms were fairly basic but very clean, no problems with the bathroom or hot water. Location is great - very central, not far from the main train station. Very nice hostel in a very nice city.

A good hostel.

Best place in Florence

Leronardo House was a great hostel to stay at in Florence. Its location is merely 2-3 min. walking to the Duomo, so pretty much close to everything, as well as close to Santa Maria Novella train station. Leonardo was very hospitable, spoke English well, and helped us to make reservations at the various galleries. It was clean enough and quiet enough, too. Not really a "party hostel" at all, but that was fine for us.

It is a nice hostel and Leonardo is a nice host. It could be better if more common space and less warning signs/ reminders.
