Very friendly staff. Clean and newly refurbished place. Walking distance to everything interesting in town. I recommend it without hesitation.

The staff is nice and the location is good. However, it charges a 4 euros luggage storage fee, which is disappointing, and you need to make appointment to take your luggages. We make the appointment to take our luggage but the staff was late, and in the end no fee was charged. The staff is helpful but the hostel is not professionally run.

Poor management. The kitchen closed earlier than advertised and the reception was often unstaffed. On one occasion the owner who'd said 2 new guests were coming went out until 1.30am and left his phone. The poor arrivers rang the bell and the telephone for 2 hours. We couldn't answer the door as there's a rule saying the door can't be opened to strangers! It's not the way to run a business. General good service but needs improving otherwise the stay is stressful.

The hostel is in a great location which is what makes it a great deal. Basically it is a flat in the middle of the city center. The manger of the Hostel, Ernie, is sometimes around but mostly the place is left unattended. This can be a BIG BIG problem when you arrive earlier or later than anticipated, and the manager will let you know how much of an inconvenience it caused him.

This place was great, like staying at a friend´s house! Everything is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent location, right in the centre of the old part of the city surrounded by lots of bars serving pintxos and minutes from the beach. Had a great time meeting people, very friendly atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The owner, Ernie (Ernesto), was great. He took us out to get pintxos and helped us order some of the best ones around. He also took us to the bar across the street from the hostel, which has really ridiculously amazing cheesecake. He also gave us a ride to the bus station when we had to leave early in the morning. The downsides are that the shower was lukewarm and Ernie mentioned something about breakfast but it never materialized...

Fantastic location, couldn't be more central yet rooms are quiet. Try the tapas bar across the street calld La Cepa. Awesome Pintxos! Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Staff were friendly when they were around (which isn't all the time).

After arriving in San Sebastian, I waited over 5 hours for Someone to check me in. They did tell me I was staying at another hostel run bybthem. It was very unprofessional.

This hostel is really well situated. All the good restaurants and bars are in this area, everything is within reach! What I loved about this hostel is its staff. Our receptionist, Ramona, was really kind and helpful! Gave us a lot of tips and advices as to where to go for sightseeing and the best pintxo experience. Thank you so much!
