Beautiful B

Far from Avignon center, taking bus is a must if accompanied with backpack or luggage.

The B&B is so lovely with the pool and beautiful garden and the host is really kind. Besides, the village where this B&B ideally locates is also worthy visiting apart from Avignon city center.

A lovely place to stay when discovering the area of Avignon, Aix etc. - it's located in the quiet and pictoresque village Villeneuve, very close to Avignon by bus or even walking. The owners are very friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and clean, property has the lovely style of Southern France. You can enjoy a homemade breakfast, the nice garden and pool and just the quietness of this place. I enjoyed my stay and will def. be back! Merci!

My friend and I really had a great time there!! It's clean, safe and quiet, with excellent quality. The staff gave us the warmest help and comfortable stay in his house. I like the garden, swimming pool and cats! Wonderful! Definitely willing to go again!

Excellent stay. Hard to get taxis back from Avignon (if you are out late you must have walking shoes), but the Les Jardins de la Livree cannot be blamed for that. Very friendly staff and excellent accomodation.

The hostel is situated in the Villanueve part of Avignon which is just a short bus ride away from the main part of town but there are some fantastic historic sites to see on this side of the river. The service provided was excellent and the meals at the restaurant on-site were excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

This place is a lovely B&B with a really nice garden and swimming pool. The staff were very friendly but not everyone speaks English (which added to the French B&B feel). We could see a huge medieval fortress from our window, this was the coolest thing ever! The WIFI in our room was very weak. The B&B is located in a village, Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, across the river from Avignon proper. This town is very nice and a lovely walk to the main city.

The family who own the property and run the kitchen/restaurant facility are very welcoming, hospitable, and gracious. They pay attention and are very helpful without being intrusive. The room was good - quite adequate for France. We had a three night stay in early September. Will definitely be on our list to stay again next travel to France (hopefully in the next year or two). Rates are reasonable, breakfast very French and yummy. Dinner fare (separate cost) was outstanding.

A beautiful b&b contained within an old walled garden with a pool. Location was not ideal - its a long walk to Avignon or a short walk to the bus. Room could have been cleaner but it was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is included, which is croissant, bread basket and tea or coffee. It would be nice if there had been cereal or yogurt provided as well. Staff were very helpful and eager to advise on things to do but were not always available. Very fast Internet connection.

Nice relaxing B&B in heart of Villeneuve les Avignon. Village square close by with several good eating choices. Host friendly and serves excellent breakfast with homemade jams.

Two short bus rides from Avignon TGV but very worth it. Gorgeous family run B&B with pool and excellent breakfast. Jean-Paul (the owner) is very hospitable and helpful with exploring the surrounds. Highly recommend.

A beautifully kept house with clean sparkling pool. Breakfast on the terrace was relaxing and Jean Paul was attentive to our needs. Very convenient for walking around Ville neuve. we were advised to use the bus for visiting Avignon and were provided with a timetable. A very relaxing stay.

We really liked this B&B, we stayed there for two nights. The breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were nice but not very friendly, maybe the language barrier was an issue. The rooms were very spacious and bright, very clean. Overall a great experience :)

I had a wonderful time in Villeneuve les Avignon. This hotel is really lovely. I was so happy here. The room was lovely, the garden is so relaxing and pretty and I really enjoyed exploring Villeneuve and walking into Avignon from there. The staff were lovely and let me practice some French. Breakfast was very pleasant too.

Very nice place, with an at-home feeling. the rooms are nice, clean and well-decorated. The staff is accomodating and will even supply you with information on the surrounding area as well as maps, etc. The breakfast is included in the price and the fire in the fireplace in the dining room during winter was really nice. check-out time is negociable.
