About Les Eaux Tranquilles
The 'Les Eaux Tranquilles’ Chambres D'Hôte, Bed and Breakfast is located just 4 km south of Quillan in the hamlet of Belvianes et Cavirac in the prefecture of Aude on the D117 within the region of Languedoc-Roussillon . 'Les Eaux Tranquilles’ sits in 2 acres of park bordered by the river Aude with the Pyrenees Mountains forming a dramatic backdrop.
We have two double bedded rooms, one king size room and a twin bedded room currently available all of which benefit from en-suite private bathrooms. All our rooms have central heating for winter guests, fly screens and their own hot water system.
The property benefits from secure parking in the grounds, there is also garage space available for motorcycles, bikes etc.
A large shaded terrace area is available for breakfasts and evening meals. There is also a small limited outside cooking area with barbeque available for our guests use (a small fee is charged for gas) and a fridge-freezer is available for food storage (free of charge). Tables, chairs and sun loungers can be found in the grounds during the summer.
All our bedrooms are en-suite and decorated to a high standard and fitted with high quality furnishings which help give them a warm welcoming feel. Each bedroom has tea and coffee making facilities (except Aude) and hairdryer. Sheets and towels are changed every 4th day and the bedrooms are cleaned every day. Our bedding is created from anti-allergenic material and filling
We are centrally located for both Perpignan and Carcassonne and their respective international airports. Our nearest towns are Quillan, Limoux and Espéraza.
Ideally located for touring the Cathar country with it’s Cathar Castles and Chateaus, ancient gorges (our nearest, Pierre-Lys, is just two minutes away), 16th century villages, vineyards and more yet within easy reach of the coast (Narbonne and Perpignan) and ski resorts (Font-Romeu, Les Angles, Puyvlador) make this an ideal all year retreat.
This particular area is renowned for its water activities such as white water rafting, kayaking, canoeing, canyoning and hydrospeed as well as walking, cycling, hiking, horse riding, quad bikes and of course sight seeing.
We are also centrally located for fans of Labyrinth by Kate Mosse and The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
