The staff were very nice and very helpful, it was great to walk in and be greeted. I can't tell you how much of a relief it was to find out that they had an elevator, especially when we were staying on the third floor. They had funny room names and a cool toilet with a crocodile painted on it, which was a nice touch. The kitchen was easy to work and the living area had a nice, homely feeling to it.

I found this hostel to simply need a major coat of paint downstairs for sure. They seem to have forgotten that first impressions are lasting. Being unable to lock the room door was not as much of an issue for me as others but maybe having stayed there only during the week was the differance. On hostelbookers it says the hostel has a pool!! (WHERE). One old computer was a joke even if it was free.

No breakfast to speak of. Way too expensive, above their posted rates during Christmas with a 3 euro charge for sheets.

Everything is ok... the staffs is friendly. The location is good. The security is not ok. The room door can not be locked. There is no locker. But there is only the luggage room. There is the common kitchen and free coffee and tea. The room is fairly clean but the bath room is somewhat not tidy and common for all people. The bed sheet is not included in the room price but rented with 3 Euro. If you are easy-going, here is quite good. In conclusion it is positive.

PROS: Location, free wireless Internet, OK kitchen, free lockers CONS: This hostel needs to have some money put into it to fix OLD / BROKEN things (bathrooms/showers especially). The beds make a horrible squeaky sound (all of them that I tried, not just one). I was in a large room and was not given any keys to the room door, so it was always open.

Not all showers were functioning, and the cleanliness in the toilets could have been better.. This was perhaps the only negative point.

Security was poor, internet was OK, excellent kitchen but no microwave, close to most of the must-see things, the smell of my room was not fresh. Only one PC--they can do better than this.

Bit of a walk from the main station but it's right in the old town which is nice. Didn't really feel safe though...at one point it sounded like someone was trying to get in our room (luckily we'd locked the door), and it wasn't the cleanest. One of the toilets had a not so nice smell to it. And the bathrooms and showers were communal. I probably wouln't stat here again...

Located just within the old city walls and about 15 minutes from the train station, the location is not bad. The red light area of Nuremberg is about 5-10 minutes walk from the hostel, away from the train station, so just be ware. No real problems though. Double rooms were nice, and our single dorm bunks had reading lights above each bed. Kitchen was good, but there is only a small common room if you want to meet other people and mingle.

No toilet paper in toilets, no towel to dry your hand in toilets, no light or doors in showers, no locks on dormitories doors and no staff in reception in the mornings. I don't recommend.

Conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk from the town centre, just inside the city walls. There is a bar within the walls directly opposite the hostle which was noisy one night, and the red light district is just 2 minutes up the road which led to some dodgy characters hanging around, but neither caused major problems. The kitchen was really clean and free coffee was available. The double rooms were very colourful and no issues with security there.

The only good thing I have to say about Lettem Sleep is it had a great kitchen. Apart from that, the security was awful - the door was propped open all day and there were no door keys so anyone could just walk in. The staff appeared to hide and I felt like I was bothering them whenever I went looking for someone. Did not enjoy our stay here at all.
