We couldn´t touch on nothing, all was dirty and beds was very old, after grandparents or so, look from window to the mess. From five hostels in Ireland which we used, this was the most expensive but the most horrible.

I had a fantastic time at Letterfrack Lodge!! Some of their building was under construction but everywhere that was open to the guests was kept quite clean. The atmosphere was relaxing and personable! I even made friends with whom I am still in contact. The off-season months will provide a more intimate and casual feel for travelers. There is a grocery store and pubs within walking distance as well as bus stops with regular schedules that could take you all around. It is a lovely place!

hi, Mike the owner is very nice. By his advices he is very helpfull, he is able to explain you lot of good walks around the village and show you where are the best spots, the tops of the montains, in to the wild, with amazing view on the sea coast. You will walk among the sheeps!! Take good shoes with you if you want doing it. Then the village is very frendly, the pubs are the best spots to enjoy your evening, close to the fire place with native people who will toll you some fairytales...Enjoy!!

The Letterfrack Lodge is a wonderful place to stay and explore Connemara. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I so enjoyed my time there that I extended my stay and luckily the accomodations were avaialble. The self-responsible kitchen and dining areas are spacious and comfortable. The atmoshere is open and creative and allows for social interaction and or solitude. It is a great place to retreat and recharge, go hiking or hunting or just relax on your journey.
