We loved our stay here, Ming and the staff were super helpful. Ming helped us call the airline on his phone and let me use his laptop for a few things. We expected a safe which there was not one. It was Ok though, besides Ming there was only one other employee. The hostel is about 10 min walk from the night market, and central to the other side of town good for going to the other side of the river via bamboo bridge we used bikes to get all over town. Perfect for the price I think.

Great little guesthouse! The staff are awesome!!

We found that place overpriced for what it is worth. If booking a double room you get charged double the original quoted price on hostel world. Guest houses should not charge per person they should charge per room! Location wasn't great a bit out from thecity centre and the WiFi cut out a lot and even the electricity would cut out and lights would turn off frequently. Zero atmosphere with no common area to chill out or meet people in. Staff are generally friendly. It is a nice clean place also

The young male manager is really, really lovely. He was always smiling, his English was great and he helped us with a good map, suggestions of things to do around the town, onward travel bookings etc.

Bathroom stank! Was dirty and had a rubbish shower! Location was ok, little walk into town and away from the river front. Owner was very nice tho and would help you when he could

Quick painfree check-in, straight to room and let us settle in before going through local sites on a map. Minh is a really energetic guy, keen to know what you've been up to and what you want to do during your stay. Sheets didn't seem to have been changed after the last guest and we ended up using our own towels as the ones provided were stained and smokey. Only a ten minutes walk to centre in a nice, quiet area. Helped us hire a scooter to go to the waterfall and booked our bus tickets onwards.

Extremely friendly staff very clean rooms and powerful showers recommended stay

The owner, who comes from Vietnam, is very helpful and energetic. He is willing to offer help even though he may not know everything. He is wonderful. Really. I find the price a little bit expensive, but all in all, this is a nice place to stay.

Great guest house, loved the stay. The staff were amazing!

Had a great stay here, and would totally recommend it. Like everywhere else in Luang Prabang, it's quiet, clean, comfortable, and Minh is the best. Its only about a 7 minutes walk to the main street too.

It's a great place, highly reccomended

The staff was extremely helpful in offering us tours and making restaurant recommendations. I would recommend Liberty House highly.

Min is a great host, the place is cool, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is tasty and cheap. It's only 5-10 mins from town centre and you can rent really good scooters to go to the waterfall etc. Overall, a great experience!

A great place to stay, the guy who runs here is so friendly and kind, makes you feel very welcome. Only 5 mins into the centre, clean room, fridge, tv with English channels. Overall one of the best we've stayed in.

Liberty House was ABSOLUTELY perfect for our stay in Luang Prabang! The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable, spoke wonderful English, and sincerely wanted us to have a great time in LP. Whatever questions we had, rides we needed, or directions we needed, it was never a problem. Liberty House was clean, Air-Con equipped for comfortable sleeping, and relaxed - the perfect accompaniment to the beautiful and charming city. Loved it here!

Not much to say about this one. Decent but unremarkable hostel, good for a short stay but don't expect anything amazing.

The staff at Liberty guesthouse are really nice and helpful! The breakfast in the Guesthouse is only 2 US Dollars and it's amazing! :)

This was a great hostel, and the owner was extremely friendly. We had a great room with a very comfortable bed and great AC. The Wifi signal is a bit iffy, but we found that to be the case in most of Laos. Pro tip: rent a bike through the guesthouse. The bike was one of the nicest we've rented in SEA (automatic and shocks!), and the price was the best we heard from other travelers who tried to rent in town. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderul stay at Liberty. The staff were helpful and approachable. The man at the front desk was so funny and so helpful, we had to stay a few extra nights ar short notice and it wasnt a problem at all, he was brilliant. Wonderful place to stay.
