Good facilities. One of the better places in Sth East Asia allowing air-conditioner to be run at anytime of day. There was one instance during a thunderstorm when water came in through the closed window and flooded the floor of the room. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Wonderful guesthouse. Clean, well located and the manager/owner/guy who runs the is one of the nicest people you could ever meet.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is in a quite area, but almost to fare from the nightmsret and bars away for walking home after midnight.
We stayed here to have a break from hostels and really enjoyed it. Basic rooms but good enough and cleaned every day although the beds weren't massively comfy (although they did give me an extra duvet to sleep on which made it better). Amazing breakfasts - the best banana pancakes I've had in SE Asia! Location a little away from the night market and river but only a 10-minute walk which is easy enough. The staff were really helpful and booked trips for us. Decent enough wifi for Laos
Amazed that previous reviews have complained about the location. Less than ten minutes walk from the night market and main strip, it is very well located and quiet. Very good free breakfast. WiFi is a bit weak, but otherwise nice rooms. Decent for the cheap rates. Negatives: At night it can be noisy, with loud refrigerators, odd noises from outside and buzzing generators keeping me up. The sink in the bathroom smelt of sewage.
Nice guest house on a quiet street about ten minutes walk from the action. The couple who run the place were very friendly and involved in helping me enjoy my stay in Luang Prabang. The Wifi was a little spotty in my room but otherwise it was a great stay - would come back again.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast choices. Big beds and only 10 min walk max from main road.
Bed was comfortable, but a lot of hair on the sheets when I arrived. Should have been a bit cleaner.
Private double room with ensuite was very clean, and the breakfast had good variety. However, the location lets it down - it is a 10 min walk from the main strip, which is far compared to other guesthouses. I also think it is overpriced. The owner was friendly on arrival, but, told us off when we did not want to extend our stay even though we had mentioned this the night before. I found him quite fake and unpleasant which let the whole experience down.
Felt safe, comfortable, looked after and valued. Nice breakfast and friendly owner.

Staff was one of the most friendly and helpful we had on our Laos trip with great service! The location is quite good, on a small, quiet street just a 5-10 minutes walk away from the night market and center (ATM's, bar street etc.). The room was clean though the sheets were a bit stained. The security at night was not that great, since anybody can walk in and out, there's nobody watching and locks are simple. Complementary breakfast with 8 dishes as well as drinks to choose from was the best!
Ming, the main guy at the front desk, was extremely welcoming and immeasurably helpful. He gave me tips about how to get around, where things were, etc. He also rented me a scooter and booked bus tickets for me. When my pick-up for the bus was late, he drove me to the bus station himself. What a guy! The guesthouse itself is fine - clean rooms, decent breakfast. The location is quiet, but it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the night market and other areas where the action is.
Pros: Good hostel. Staff was helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Cons: If you don't pay in U.S. dollars, the staff will use an inflated exchange rate that amounts to a fee for paying in the local currency. Also the staff helped me to book a tour, which I appreciated. However, I paid about twice as much as everyone else on the tour. Maybe this is because I was one person, but you might want to book direct (the company is called Phone Travel Co.).
Staff super personable and helpful. We got off an overnight bus at 4 am and were still helped. Room was comfortable. Location is a short walk to the main strip of town in a really nice neighborhood. Nice relaxing and quiet.
The location was a bit far from the central night market area and difficult to find in the dark. Facility is very basic. Our room was on the first floor right next to the front door and our window was literally doors to the outdoor sitting area, which meant we could hear everyone's conversation. Otherwise, the price is great for what we're getting and Ming (the host) was super enthusiastic to help.
The guy at reception was very accomodating and always cheerful. Good variety for the free breakfast. Our double room with twin beds was a little too cramped, it was hard to walk around. This guesthouse was about 10-15 minutes walk away from the night market and is at a lovely neighborhood.
Nice and clean guesthouse, friendly and helpful staff and very breakfast . Great value for money
Overall wasn't bad, just a short walk to the main area and the room and free breakfast was decent . The young guy at reception was very nice but also very interested in what your doing every time you come and go (which personally I don't enjoy). If your going to the waterfall I would suggest haggling down one of the tuk tuks on the street, we got a lower price than they gave us at the hotel.
Helpful and friendly staff. Great place to sit outside. You can rent bikes and motorbikes from the guesthouse. 10 minutes walk to the night market. Place is not easy to find with just the address and without the map from Hostelworld. But when I couldn't find it, owner Ming came to pick me up with the motorbike! Great service!
