The staff were very friendly and helpful, which was useful when I had to ask them for toilet paper for my room because I was not provided any, and to remove the very large cockroach from my bathroom. My bathroom was also full of ants and spiders and the wifi did not work for me. I feel like I paid over the odds for probably one of their worst rooms, but only stayed one night and moved somewhere else the next day. I think it is probably a good guesthouse, but I had a bad experience there.

Really good rooms and excellent staff. Probably an ideal place for couples but no bar / games room for lone travellers or groups (that said it is a guesthouse, not a hostel). Located an easy walk to Luang Prabang centre, through the markets.

What impressed me was the cleaneless, and the best mattress I found during my rtw trip ever! Quite place and pretty close to the center, the room and the place in general seems more an hotel than a guest house, not common area, no breakfast but high quality room.

The liberty is a cute guesthouse in the old quarter. However there is no breakfast and no food available so you have to walk 10 minutes to find a banana. Also there is no communal area to meet anyone there and no way to do any bookings as well. If you are a backpacker go somewhere else. Comfy befs an hot shower.

A good basic place, although not sure it was worth the price. Set back from the main road, the road to it isn't well lit in the evening which is something to bear in mind if you're travelling as a lone woman like me. No main common area so doesn't feel very sociable and staff weren't very welcoming/gave no introduction to hostel/town.

I can't actually comment on the guest house as when we arrived they told us they didn't have room so they sent us round to another guess house, even though we told them what time we were going to be arriving. We had also just got off a 12 hour bus journey, so when we arrived at 7am and told we did not have a bed we were not very happy. ( I have only put poor as it said I need to comment)

Only stayed here one night, it was fine. Bit further from the centre than most places, but still in walking distance. Very nice staff.

Got a decent and clean room. The guesthouse is bit out of the center but we did not mind the 10min walk. The house is situated in a calm street. A shop for renting a motorcycle is close (just around the corner) Breakfast was not included but cheap and good value for the money

Very comfortable rooms, great shower, pretty quiet, staff nice. A good, peaceful place to retire after a big day. It's not in the centre, but this wasn't a problem for us. There's plenty of cafes and a cheap (the cheapest we saw in the city) laundry service nearby.

Very clean rooms and good place to stay. 5 minute walk from the main tourist area. Enjoyed my stay.

We had a lovely here. We stayed in the end suite room which was extremely clean and came with two free towels.the WiFi was good and the lady on reception was very friendly and happy to help with any questions. Of the two places we stayed in luang prabang this one was certainly the most peaceful.

Thought that the owners were great- super friendly. The cost for the private single room was $17 which is VERY expensive for the quality and location of the guesthouse.

Comfortable, clean and quiet guesthouse in Luang Prabang. My private room with a bathroom, tv and air con was a great deal. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. There's no complimentary breakfast but there is free wi-fi (which works well even in the rooms) The only "negative" about this guesthouse is that it is a bit far from the main area of town. However, it does give you the opportunity to see a different part of LP and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the restaurants and shops.

This hostel is sıituated in a quiet street in a very nice part of town with some seriously up market properties around and about. If it takes 10 mıns to get into town it's because you've been distracted by something (Joma Bakery, a market stall or some other delight. Nyuang who is a constant smiling face in reception is delightful and very helpful. The map she gave us was basic but she wrote everything you need to know about trips and prices on it for us. We loved Luang Prabang & Liberty GH
