expected more facilities -- ie tour booking and atmosphere. Also, the provided map isn't very useful and the guesthouse is hard to find.

A generally clean place (rooms cleaned daily) that's more of a budget hotel than a hostel. It's located a bit out of the center but is not much cheaper than the places in town. There's not much common space and as a result not that much atmosphere, although the WiFi is good. The owner is nice and negotiated a good rate for my tuk-tuk to the airport although she forgot to arranged for someone to pick me up though she told me she'd do so. Overall, this is an okay choice, but you can do better.

One of the dirtiest rooms I ever had. The bed was so hard you can t sleep, even if you are drunk it is not possible.

We contacted the hostel asking if it indeed was 24 hour check in and told them we would arrive at 7am. They said all of this was fine. We arrived after a 12 hour journey. They didn't have a room for us until 12pm. I explained their mistake and they didn't care and said it wasn't their fault and told us look around until then. Needless to say we checked in somewhere else instead.

It's only a ten minute walk to the night markets, heaps of places to choose where to eat to suit all budgets. Moved to a cheaper place in the centre of the town given we decided to stay in Luang Prabang for six more days. This place certainly was a nice way to be introduced to LP.
