Facilities was between poor and average. The shower was a little bit dirty. The Police station in the neighbourhood is pretty loud, therefore there are no criminals around the hostel. The bag storage is free, but they just placed it into the dining area (on the side), while people where still eating there. Nothing happend but we didnt feel comfortable with it. Its 500m from Gare de l\'Est. Good location with some nice cafés around.

This is a great hotel for those on a budget, we had a double room with our own shower and paid around 35 Euros per night each, the room also had a TV but no fridge. The location is excellent especially if you come on the Eurostar as it is just a very short walk away from Paris North and East Stations. It is also a short 30min walk to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. The staff were very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those looking for a simple convenient place to sleep.

Great location -very near to Gare L;Est station . Prefer private ensuite on 1st floor which are ideal for senior citizens with big luggages.

Upon are arrival at the Hostel/hotel the staff where friendly and spoke good English. The room was small as expected, what was diapointing was the very bad damp smell in the room,,black and green mold growing up the walls,an onsuite and toilet that was liitle more than a closet, tiny, and the shower leaked every where. The carpet was disgusting not the sort of thing for bare feet,,the throw on the bed was \"stained\" with goodness knows what. The hostel is opposite a busy police station.

Other reviews mention a not entirely helpful staff, but we didn't find that to be the case. All the guys working at reception were very welcoming to us. The 5 euro breakfast is a good deal considering how expensive Paris is. We had a double bed private, the room was a good size and clean. There is only one toilet and one shower for the entire floor, toilet was clean, shower could have been cleaner. It's close to metro stops but it's a little shady at night. All in all, a good deal for the price.

We rented a double bed, ensuite bathroom: well located hostel, near the line 4 metro station Chateau d'Eau, the room was clean and cousy, but not big. The staff gave us all the hints we asked for and were receptive. I recomend liberty hotel if you are planning to know Paris! See you!

The Hotel is nice, close by metro to Notre Dame and other important attractions. Its a good value for the money. The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel had a smelling carpet though and the heating/insulation wasn't good. I had a great time there though!

we had 3th floor and there was no elevator. I had specified when I made the booking that my mom is 70th and we asked to chance the room with 1st floor. the hotel was fully booked but we were lucky there was one room at 1st floor. the rooms are very small and bathrooms are very disgusting... it is absolutely to be renewed!!!

If we consider the prices in Paris, this hotel is very nice. It was my second time there. But charge 2 euros to keep each bag for some hours after check-out, is completely unnecessary.

Not all staff members spoke great english but this never caused a problem. They were all very friendly and helpful. It's very safe to leave your things in the room and at night the front door locks automatically and the receptionist immediately lets you in as you ring the doorbell. The nearest metro station is less then 5 minutes of walking away and in about 10 - 20 minutes you can easily get there from Gare du Nord (a train will take you there directly from CDG) and Gare de l'Est.Clean and neat

Cheap, ok, but no shower and my room was at the 3rd floor without lift. Good for short periods, 2-3 day.

Taxi from the train station to the Liberty very close ( 5 minutes), cost about 7 euro (includes the 2 euro for my 2 bags). In an alley, off two main streets that lead right to the Notre-Dame. The walk from the Hotel to the Seine is about 35-45 minutes. There are only a couple of unsafe streets, with a lot of people lingering on them, avoid them and go on your way. The bed was big, and the room was a lot cleaner than expected. I had a private room with an on-suite and was all very clean, safe.
