Beautiful view. Long walk by the road, can use the beach. Hole in the bathroom floor without door between bathroom and bedroom. It means many bugs in the room at night.

Relaxed atmosphere. I will recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay here, the staff were really friendly and the food served was great. However there was bugs in the room and there is a long walk into town.

Lovely private location, wonderful views from our room, friendly staff and good food. Swimming and snorkeling off the rocks, like your own private beach!

The staff did not speak well english. We had got big problems with the communication. The personal did not know that the hotel is offered on the hostelworld.com site.

sorry about the communication, the staff were not there when you checked in. We know our hotel is offered on hostelworld as we have to update the system every day

Fantastic location. Friendly and close to the beach about 20 minutes walk to the town along a nice beach. Rooms basic but clean and great views.

We asked to have our bins changed in the bathroom 3 times and finally I did it myself. Also asked for the floor to get swept as it gets very sandy but it never did. The English woman who owns the place just laughed it off. Even though I asked her. Also asked 3 times to get more toilet paper. Also our hammock broke on the first night and it tool them 3 days just to tie it back up. On a good note the food was really good.

We are sorry your bins weren't changed. The staff later said that they could not understand any of your English, Also you left early in the morning without paying for your food from the previous day.

This guesthouse has it'd pros and cons. It's a good 20 minute walk into the centre of Haad Rin and it's so remote that taxis don't go there - only motorbikes. The deluxe rooms are nice but expensive for what they are. Despite all this I loved my stay here. The view from our bungalow was stunning and the walk along the secluded beach into town was beautiful too. Recommended if you're looking for a break from the madness.

DEFINITELY WORTH A STAY. This place was set on the most out of the way beach, but only a 10min walk to full moon beach, which is perfect if you want a nice place to chill before and after. The room was small but clean and comfy. We were allowed to use the canoe for free, the food was excellent and the staff very helpful. Even got a lift to Haad Rin after our stay. Books to read, hammocks to lay in and a good snorkelling spot. Will visit again next time. Jon & BeanZ

Fantastic views here and really peaceful, not too far from the main town where all the nightlife is. Really good snorkelling here. Friendly staff and great thai food. Would recommend to couples or anyone looking for peace and quiet but not far from the action

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! We booked a twin room but it was a double! The kind wife of the owner let us have two doubles for the price of one as it wasn't our fault the booking was incorrect. The husband came back and said no, gave our money back and we argued about the situation. This resulted in the owner assaulting me. He kicked me 4 or 5 times one being in the throat! Once in the wrist and I lost my watch!! If you do decide to stay here (DON'T) be very careful of the owner he is very aggressive

Staff where lovely and room had a great view looking over to Koh Samui. That is when it wasn't raining!

So much things to say about this place. Where should I start? The pictures are fake fake FAKE! The hut was terrible. There was a poor mattress, two poor pillows without any covers. And "a sheet" to cover the bed, if you can even call it a sheet. Terrible shower and a toilet. I've been in poor rooms before, but it's okay if you know what you get. We didn't have a clue. Only good thing about the place - nice owner, and we got our money back.

Really nice staff and the number one location if you're looking for a place to chill out and do nothing. 10 min walk to fullmoon-partybeach. Bring Cash!

A lovely quaint place with stunning views of the sea and koh samui, lovely staff and excellent food, although food service is rather slow. It is a trek out of the centre of Had Rin so not ideal if you want to be in the hub of the nightlife but is ideal for an escape from everything with a lovely secluded beach 2 mins away. A good place for families, couples or people who want nothing more than to relax on a balcony with their thoughts :o)

This hostel was right on the ocean, and you could hear the waves crash onto the rocks below you when you went to sleep....amazing. Though, it was a good 20min walk to the main town, but definately worth the walk. Would definately stay here again. Tip: Remember to bring you mozzie coils!!

a great position on the ro9cks overlooking the sea but it is quite a walk to the town and involves walking along the beach and through one of the beach resorts. the hut we stayed in was basic and only had a fan but again the view was amazing. everyone there was really friendly and it had a great atmosphere, definatly not a party hostel. i wouldnt want to walk there from the ferry if you have a big pack so call them and they will come and get you.

Hostel is in a good location if you want to be out of the way, suggest you ring to be collected from the pier at Haad Rin. Food in the restaurant is great and the people / owners are very friendly.

This is literally at the end of the road, the end of the boardwalk actually. There is nothing but rocks and headland beyond it, so that adds to the appeal. That said, it does feel a little isolating at time. But the restaurant is good, and cheap if you keep to Thai food.
