Great location - a few minutes from the old town but away from the noise and bustle. It is tricky to find at first too though - I paid to be picked up from the station and it was definitely worth it. The staff were wonderful - kind, helpful and knowledgeable - and the little yard was a good place to hang out or just sit in the sun. The weather in Lijiang is changeable and my room had no heating, so it could get a bit chilly at times.

This was a great character place in Old Town Lijiang. It wasnt right in the bustle of the town which was always very crowded and quite noisy which was great but maybe not for living. It was however still close enough for a short walk with heaps of eating palces along the way to check out. When we were there on Dec 2012 the owners were away and there was only one staff member Helen. I hope they gave her a HUGE bonus as she was fantastic...very knowledge, helpful with making arrangements etc
