the hotel need to upgrade the food taste. the menu for breakfast is okay, but the taste is very bad. many cheap local food is more delicious than this hotel's breakfast.

The location of Lilac is so convenient! Right near the railway station and metro, it's easy to get around and has a big sign so it can be spotted easily. The rooms were very clean and nice - it was pretty cheap for a hotel and I would stay there again. After we checked out we left our luggage and I felt like it was secure. Picked it up in the afternoon with no problems.

It's a hotel, not a hostel. So, it has NO vibe at all. But it is ok, it has a beautiful lake, good breakfast ( not included, but you can mix chinese and western food, and that's cool, because you can try some chinese breakfast food). The bedroom is ok, but they gave me one with cigarette smelling. It has a good location, close to the metro. That's a 7-11 just in the corner, which is very nice too. It is a good option for one night. But, if you want vibe, don't go there.

This hotel was the perfect location for us being so close to East Station. The room was spacious and clean. The provision of a microwave, hotplate and kettle would have been really useful to us had we been staying for more than one day. Other useful facilitis included a haidryer and internet access in the room. Not everything that is provided in the bathroom is free so check the hotel booklet. We would definitely stay here again but it is not the place for meeting fellow travellers.

Good location, but very noisy place even during night, because of construction right next door.

The place is a little boring, but who cares? The rooms are clean, secure, air conditioned, and near the railway station. Go for the single rooms - they aren't too expensive. The bed is stiff, but this is typical for southeast china.

The hotel is an excellent palce to stay while transiting through Guangzhou using the East Railway Station. It isn't close to the centre of town but is well connected to it by the easy to use metro system.

A nice place to stay in Guangzhou, it is very near to train station to airport or to city. There are nice restaurants and shopping mall nearby. Rooms are clean, 3 Beds Suite is very nice and big for family. They have a nice garden too. We only have comment on their food, everyday same and some foods are cold.
