Lillehammer Hostell was like staying in a 4 star hotel. I had my oven private room with double bed and bathroom. This place has just finished a massive renovation and the facility reflects that. It had a fantastic common room and communal kitchen. The hostel is in a great location right next to the train station and 1 minutes walk from down town Lillehammer. Best place I have ever stayed.

I really enjoyed living in a building site - oh, and the fact that breakfast was served somewhere else in the city. Did I mention, that a single room inclusive of breakfast was NOK 730,00 ? So I skipped the breakfast, did not feel like an excursion in the town at 7 am was what I needed. Sorry folks - it is a bummer.
