My stay at Lima Limon Hostel was just perfect. It begins with the staff who are so friendly and welcoming. They were trying to help wherever they could. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and common rooms were very clean and cosy. Thanx to the staff and the great people staying at the hostel there was a great atmosphere. Thank you so much!

The staff and fellow backpackers at Lima Limon helped make my stay in Bogota. The bamboo beds are very creaky, and the walls are paper thin, so the hostel usually wakes and sleeps as one (roughly midnight to nine when I was there). The neighborhood is a little dangerous, so keep your wits about you, but most of the other hostels are there as well. I'd recommend it for people looking to be social, but not for light sleepers.

We'd just like to thank the staff at Lima Limon for being so helpful to us after we were held up at knifepoint and had all a lot of our belongings, including passports, stolen. The assistance provided getting to and from the police stations and embassies was above and beyond what is to be expected from a hostel, and the hospitality, warmth and security of the venue made us feel perfectly safe after a pretty traumatising experience. Thank you so much!

Lima Limon deserves its high rating, this is a fantastic hostel. The people that run it are lovely and so helpful. After a pretty awful night bus to get there, they made us feel welcome straight away offering coffee and breakfast. The building itself is beautiful and located in a great spot for getting around Bogota. We met some awesome people here and would definitely stay here again.

Lima Limon was like my second home. Actually it was my first home for almost a month during my stay in Bogota. I would recommend Lima Limon to all of my friends and to everybody who needs a hostel for a shorter or longer time in Bogota.

Maybe the location is not the best, but it's where all the hostels are, on the other hand the staff working there is really cool and helpfull, you will feel like home if you're Argentinean :)

Had a very good time at Lima Limon... Sonia, Andres and employees are friendly and helpful... We (guests and the hostel employees) went for a night out in the last Saturday of the year... The local bar was crowded... The dance floor was packed with local and backpackers... Colombians are friendly and smiling... Lots of fun... There was a minor chaos on the street that night (a robbery or bag snatching?), but the police seemed to catch those bad guys right a way.... Really enjoyed Lima Limon ...

Near to the restaurants and the main attractions in old town, it's a perfect place to stay in Bogota. But the best of all is the staff and the atmosphere there. Enjoy!

My experience was amazing, the hostel looks exactly like the pictures, well- decorated, cozy and plenty of positive energy! The staff was always helpful and ready to give tips, pieces of advice, recommendation, etc. A bunch of easygoing people work there, some of whom have become my friends in such a short period. I had a lot of fun! The hostel is right around the chorro de Quevedo. Everything is clean, the bathrooms are small but always clean and the water pressure is superb! Def going back!

The Lima Limon Hostel is a very nice and small hostel directly situated in the Candelaria en Bogota. The staff is very nice and i had a super salsa night with almost all of the persons sleeping in the hostel. It is clean, safe and has a nice atmosphere. The breakfast is good. Nothing to complain about!

Hostel is walking distance to many attractions and downtown. Andres and Sonia are friendly, helpful and ALWAYS in a good mood to answer questions or guide travelers on anything. Andres speaks English and so do a couple of very friendly and pleasant volunteers/travelers staying in the hostel. I read other comments before I stayed here in reference of the kitchen being taken over...nah!. Sharing is the name of the game here. People are open to talk and eat with you as long as YOU don't isolate....

The hostel had a good, but simple breakfast. The location was amazing. The rooms were clean, the beds were sturdy and comfortable. The best thing about the hostel was the staff and the common area that really made a family out of everyone staying there. I had a fantastic time and would definitely stay there again.
