Really bad layout in so far that some dorms open into the common room where loud music is played until beyond 2.30 am. I had to be up early for a bus and it really wasn't very helpful! Granted it's buenos aires so loud music and noise are to be expected, but it could have been a bit better. Other than that no issues. Wild stay somewhere different next time though.

We arrived at buenos aires to the hostel at 1AM after booking in advance at hostelworld. But altough we wrote i that we will be arrving at 1AM, the hostel didnt understand the booking and we had no room at the hostel. They said that we should arrive 12 hours later, altough we have shown them we booked threw the site the exact time we actually arrived. they offered us a privet room which was much pricy! they showed no UNDERSTANDING! altough they understood their mistake. lame humen touch

If you like a party hostel with a bar, you should choose this hostel. I had a sleepless night at that hostel because of a party in the bar. The rooms are directly next to the bar. The hostel\\\'s location is perfect, cleanlyness is good.

Some room give right in the lobby/reception/bar at night, so if you want to sleep, theis is not the place. It´s like trying to sleep in a disco. The rest is Ok. Note that there are no elevator, in case you have lots of luggage. the room have almost no electrical outlet to charge your phone/computer. The Wi-Fi internet access was deficient, I was never able to connect...

Very nice hostel! Loved the visitors, staff, and the character of the hostel. Only minus was the rule of not bringing alcoholic drinks into the hostel.. Although I do get the point of that.

This is a great hostel!! Great staff who helped us with finding things to do in buenos aires, helped us when we got stucked without a hostel in our next destination and fixed the fan in the room when it stopped working. They serve nice breakfast and the toilets and showers are good. They even have a nice roof where we had a lot of fun with the friends we met there. Defenitly a place to come back! :)

The Hostel is in a great location in BsAs, spacious rooms and the ambience is nice. There is a weak point that made me very uncomfortable: the noise is made until 3 or 4 AM (music very loud at the reception that does not permit you sleep if you are in the front rooms) there is a rule to not make noise after 11 PM but this is not respected or even by employees indeed. The bathrooms are usually clean.

I was in a room next to the bar and there was music every night till 3-4 something. Further there were things stolen from me. The guy in the morning wasn't open to arrange lots of stuff for you and you have to wait every time for such a long time. The other staff was really nice. The location was good as well.

Hood hostel, great location and friendly helpful staff. Having the bar there was fun but for a non-smoker it got a bit too much as there was not a great ventilation and whenever I opened my door I was met by a cloud of smoke! Also we were there for 5 days and the room wasn't cleaned at all. Saying that though we did enjoy our stay there.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were really friendly and socialised with the people staying. There was a very open atmosphere which made it easy to get talking to people and the opportunity to take part in extra activitiess. The location made it easy to get anywhere in the city and overall it has been one of the nicest hostels I have stayed in and somewhere I would recommend.

Best hostel we've stayed at in Buenos Aires. A special thanks to Tomas Hughes on reception who made us feel at home the second we walked through the door! Brilliant atmosphere in this hostel - reception is also the bar area so it's a great place to meet people and the bar is open 24hrs. Theres a pool table and a terrace. The staff also organise loads of activities should you want them to. Clean, and decent value for money - we stayed in a private double. Would happily recommend this hostel!

Lime house has to be one of the best " value for money hostels" there are out there!!! The location is probably the best you could find in buenos aires , on the main street and 1 block from newrest metro just perfect .. Breakfast is big including pasteries and the staff are always happy to answer questions.. The atmosphere is great, there is a good bar and a big terrace upstairs to relax and enjoy some of the great atmosphere of the streets in BA.
