Very friendly and helpful staff. Clearly one of the best places to stay in Sao Paulo. Very clean and nice place. You get to socialize with everyone over the free Caipirinha and its party time from there! The staff arranged for a great place to party and even joined us along. It was great fun!

This is definitely an EXCELLENT hostel and I enjoyed my stay here SO MUCH! Facilities-wise, it just gave you everything you want. good wifi, clean and hot shower, adpator (just need to give a deposit of R10 and then when u check out and give them back the adaptor just get your deposit back), places for cooking, meeting people, free caprinhia each night. just you need to walk a while from Maksoud Plaza (where you get off from Airport Shuttle bus), like 5 blocks away.

the bar tender was very friendly but the rest of the staff was fairly unpleasant and not very enthusiastic about helping with any questions. The atmosphere was lacking in the community feel that many hostels provide.

Wow, that sucks! :( We pick our staff mainly based on the fact that they like meeting and helping people, and we're very particular about this. Also we are very well known for being the one hostel that focus a lot on the social aspect in Sao Paulo, getting people to hang out and make new friends and even going out every night. I'll get in touch with you to know more about these situations you encountered, cause it's quite unusual. Thanks for your comments anyway!

Staff are very nice, rooms are spacious with lots of plug sockets and lockers with plug sockets inside too! Bar is nice and cheap, although cant bring your own drinks in. Kitchen is well equipped, fairly big.. no breakfast though (although if youre out drinking you probably wouldnt make it anyway). Would definitely stay here again.

I really had great time there because you are able to meet a lot of people from all around the world. The location is excellent and the members of the staff are wonderful and very, very friendly!! And, of course, the party starts in the hostel!!

The hostel itself was fine, clean and very secure but it felt a little lacking in soul, and the lack of a proper communal area in the main part of the hostel was a bit of a drawback. Staff were fairly helpful but often seemed surprised when asked a question about Sao Paulo or the hostel itself.

Grazie mille! :)

Limetime´s staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and spoke very good English. The bathrooms were a little dirty, not from lack of cleaning, just overuse and grafitti. It is a great hostel for partying as they give a free caipirinhia every night at 9 and the bar has a good atmosphere (Daniel is a great bartender!). Beds in the dorms were awesome; included a light and the bottom bunks all had a curtain so you could keep your area dark. Lockers available but need your own lock; internet fast!

Best hostel I've ever stayed in! Staff were incredibly helpful, rooms were spacious and immaculate, beds had curtains round for privacy, bedding was soft and actually felt clean for once! Wifi available everywhere, not just in the common areas, lockers had plug sockets within them so you an safely leave your valuables to charge... all this and yet was also the cheapest hostel I've stayed in in Brazil! Only negative would be no air con in the dorm, but it wasn't too hot.

Good atmosphere, walking distance to shops, supermarket and metro. Staff were very friendly, easy to get along with and knowledgable. Even if they didn't know about something you wanted to do they looked it up for you and found the best way/option. Overall I had a good time!

Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay this time Brett (as you did in 2010)... It's been 3 years and everything in Sao Paulo got way more expensive, except for LimeTime, that still charges the same thing since we opened. We had a hard time getting the repair guy to come and fix the fan, indeed... If I could do it myself I would. But it's fixed now. As for the parties, we try to make sure the guests have the best time possible. We write on the board what's going on, we organize the taxis and we explain how the bills at the clubs work. And we make ZERO money from this. Sometimes the club is cheap or free, sometimes is expensive, but we tell everything upfront. Sorry it was not your scene, but hey, can't please everyone!
