Dont expect too much. But its a nice clean hostel in a lovely area not too far from the city center. Good service from the personnel and good value for money.

The staff were friendly, informative, and helpful. Emma was especially delightful. And for being a hostel, the Linne is one of the best choices. I highly reccommend.

When people are doing long flights and travelling between several countries it is not easy to get computer access. I was arriving after 6pm and was forced to use a computer at the airport. It was not secure and as a result my hotmail account was compromised. I had to spenda lot of time sorting out that little problem! I didn't see any staff and could not get them to understand the problem. Perhaps this hostel is only suitable for people travelling long distances and that is a pity.

More appropriate check in times, not only 3 hours per day afternoon, when you will very likely doing side seeing.

It's a basic hostel, the room was very small with no window, a bunk bed with no stair to go into the top bunk. We asked if we could change to another room and they told us that they had no more rooms available There were people that look like they were living there, that made lots of noise in the corridors and even try to open our room door in the middle of the night, so i don't think i will be coming back. The room was clean, and so were the bathrooms and kitchens.

This was my second time staying there and I enjoyed it more than my first stay mainly because I was in a different room where there were no annoying noises from the next door toilet. Bed linens, kitchen, bathrooms, toilets and corridors are all very clean. It's a safe hostel and in a quite neighborhood where you can rest once you're there. The only thing is that it's not in the heart of the city, but fairly close,10-15 mins walking distance to downtown, there is a bus stop at its door, literally :)

Room was very small, beds were creaking. Closed windows were leaky, cigarette smoke came in from other guests on the sidewalk in front of the hostel. They also were noisy all night long, slamming doors. 2nd night we asked the very friedly staff for another room, this was much better. Kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are very smelly and not really clean, but okay. Location is not central and public transport is expensive. Price is quite cheap for what you get. Not the worst place to stay.

Thanks very much for a nice stay. My only complaint is about the toilet next to my room (221).Each time a man used the bathroom, it sounded like they were in my room, the sound of urinating and spitting was irritating. Maybe you could make this toilet a "female only" toilet because when females used the bathroom there weren't any of those sounds. For men there are several toilets just 2 steps away in their showers so it shouldn't be a problem for them I guess. But overall I'm happy with my stay :)

I did not have so high expectations on the hostel since it was one of the cheapest one to stay in Gothenburg. But it was definitely over my expectations, very clean, wifi worked fine, good shared bathroom. If I ever again will need a room in Gotenburg I will come back and stay here. The only thing is that you have to bring your own bedsheets, but I'm not complaining coz that's how it is in most of the hostels.

We really enjoyed our stay. Even though we had been expecting a room without a window we were very pleased to find iwe were given one after all, a big bonus. Great kitchen facilities and very clean, with helpful staff. Thank you.

+ the staff was very friendly + you can use the kitchen with everything you need to cook, get free coffee and tea there - the wireless connection had problems sometimes, but you can also use computers in the hall with good internet all the time

An acceptable hostel. Staff service somewhat lacking and in a location close enough to Haga but somewhat removed from the city. A fine 10-15 min walk though. Reception only staffed for a few hours each day though, which made my check in difficult. I had emailed advising of my late arrival, but got no response, so when arrived I was luckily let in by another guest, then had to call to be advised of my room ect. Very lucky I had a working phone. Rooms good for the price. Facilities ok but average.
