Excelent location in La Paz near everything you need, travel agencies, good places to eat and buy all you want. Quiet rooms to sleep, even with so many guests no noise near the rooms. Breakfast could be better but it´s OK. Wi Fi works well and there´s a PC in the reception guests can use. I liked my stay in Lion Palace.

The staff here is horrible. They said our laundry would be done that night. We went back that night, and the dirty clothes were still sitting behind the counter, and another staff member said there is no laundry service today. They had NO MAPS of the city, and offered no alternative help on how to orient ourselves. We checked out and paid for the room, but the staff member did not record it. So, they accused us of not paying. One of the worst-run hostels I've ever been to! Do not go here!

The location is great and the hotel is central with nice views from the main areas of portions of the city. Staff didn't seem to know I was coming, so there was some confusion initially. I also e-mailed them twice to confirm that I was arriving late and never received a response. The rooms are nice, though some of the details are rough - e.g missing light bulbs in hallways, the painters weren't very careful so the decor seems thrown together. Other than that, they have been most helpful!
