The walls were thin so you heard everything the people outside the doorm were saying. Luckily for us, we were very tired and just stayed for one night. The staff were nice, but the blonde joke about my friend in front of her wasn't appreciated at all. Hope you (the staff) will consider this in the future.

This is an amazing hostel! I´ve stayed in many hostels before and this one just has the perfect combination of cleanliness, good facilities and amazingly friendly staff. Ana, Joana, Ricardo and Tomas at reception are always there to welcome you with a smile, a joke and an abundance of information. Odete (Mama Soup) feeds you free and yummy soup in the evening, while Carlos (Papa pancakes) is ready to feed you delicious pancakes in the morning. the houskeeping ladies are amazing too. Stay here :D

Unfortunately, we had just 2 days and 1 night in Lisbon. We loved our stay in Lisboa Central Hostel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and gave us many tips where to go, what to visit, and how to get there. All those tips, from places to eat to Cabo da Roca were great. The mattresses were good as well and I had a sound sleep. Location is very good. Easy to travel around and safe. Would love to come back :)

All the amenities you need in a good location. Best thing is the free soup you get for dinner and the delicious pancakes at breakfast. A great family atmosphere, with all the staff being so so friendly and helpful. Wish I could have lived here

The best hostel I have ever stayed in! People are great, communicative, happy and funny! I spent a really great time there. Pancakes in the morning!!! Evening program every night! 100 % help in any question. Super! Thank you very much!

I wouldn't call them a 'staff.' They are the warm and welcoming relatives you never knew you had. Not to mention they all have a hilarious sense of humor. Pancakes are great! Kitchen area really facilitates meeting people. On my last night, they served all you could drink and eat sangria and a delicious cod dish for 1 euro! I had such a good time at the hostel that I was a little depressed upon checkout. It has officially become my home away from home. I can't wait to return.

I have never felt more at home in my entire life. This is the best hostel in the world. I don't normally bother to rate hostels but lisboa central is truly something special. I strongly recommend this to anyone wishing to visit Lisbon.

Great hostel, we had a great time staying there, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. They provided a great breakfast every morning and a delicious portuguese dinner one night we were there. People were really friendly and it was a nice, low key, comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Best hostel ever!! The staff are all amazingly nice and genuinely care. They really make you feel at home with the homemade pancakes and traditional Portuguese dinners. It's also the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at. Definitely stay there!!

LCH is, simply put, even beyond what you expect from a hostel. The friendly reception included a rice and codfish meal cooked by D. Odete, and soon revealed that my stay would be fantastic. You get everything you need there, directions given by the staff are great, drinks are cheaper than anywhere, and they even make you fruit pancakes in the morning. The schedule is very flexible too, with breakfeast until 11 and checkout at 12. The place is not crowded and people are friendly. Just come!

GOOD! I think they are trying to make a perfect hostel, the most important is that they care about your feeling. a lot of extra free food, and the bathroom is good too, the water is hot, bed is comfortable, but I think it will be more perfect if you can put some lubricants on the hinge of the door. is not a big problem, just give you a suggestion

Everything I needed was available here, great location, very clean and so very accomodating. I would recommend this place highly. I enjoyed the people, places, and the great surprises Portugal has to offer.

Wonderful hostel. Upon check-in, the staff gave us very easy helpful recommendation for the day. We did exactly what she suggested and had a wonderful day in Lisbon. We had a private ensuite and it was beautiful.
