Just a flat-out wonderful place to stay. The staff is so friendly and gave great advice about places to go. The place has a home-away-from home sort of feeling, and the atmosphere makes it very, very easy to talk to other travelers. Sorry to have left so soon.

You can see why this hostel wins so many awards! It has a great atmosphere, is well-located (just a few minutes from the metro or an easy half-hour walk to the main part of town), excellent kitchen and bathroom set-up, comfortable beds, free wifi and breakfast (including made-to-order fruit pancakes!). Best of all are the friendly staff who are more than happy to help with directions and advice, etc. I'd definitely recommend this place!

It's unusual to travel to a major city and find a truly decent hostel. Lisboa Central Hostel is an exciting and friendly place to stay. As soon as you walk through the door you are warmly welcomed by the staff. Other travelers I met during my stay were equally as friendly. They are there to help you any hour of the day or night with details about tourism, travel etc. There is everything you need, big and clean rooms and they even serve Pancakes for breakfast! Stay here if you're in Lisbon!!

This is the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in! The pancakes and soup were delicious and the place was very clean. The best thing about this hostel is the staff, who were knowledgable, funny, and went above and beyond to make sure their guests have a good stay in Lisbon. Location was great right next to metro.

This hostel is amongst the best available in a centre of city location - providing a chance to be right in the middle of things in lively Lisbon. When I arrived I was given a milkshake (it was Milkshake Monday) and each morning somebody cooked a wonderful fruit pancake for breakfast, while soup and fresh bread was left in the kitchen for anyone wishing to get a simple da hoc meal during the day.

I only spent a weekend in the Hostel but my experience was great. Good and easy location, friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. Common areas (toilets, showers, kitchen) were well cleaned all the time. In general, I really had a good time in this hostel I can recommend it to anyone that want to spend little money in exchange for a great service. I would come back again.

They are so nice here. The value of their generosity and friendliness is unmatched. It feels like a home. Plus there are no hidden fees of breakfast, towels or anything like that. The kitchen has everything you could need: spices, pots, pans, etc. If you're looking to live cheaply, get this hostel eat the breakfast, soups and cook when you need because it's perfect!
