I really enjoyed my time at Libosa. The owners were super nice, gave excellent directions and recommendations, helped me find my way to both my day trip to Gibraltar and my ferry to Tangier. They even upgraded me and gave me an ensuite room all to myself for free. The only downside was that the directions to the hostel were not terribly clear and there aren't many street signs--but I made it in the end.

Very economical Hostel, almost right next to the Train/Bus Station. Some of the facilities are a little limited but it is great value for money. A good spot to plan trips to Tangier or Gilbraltar.

This place didn't have many reviews when I booked it but it ended up being the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The towels and blankets provided were all white which added to the clean atmosphere. It was very much like a hotel. The bathroom was aesthetically pleasing and soap was provided for the shower and for the sink. Rosa was also a very kind and helpful person, which contributed to my pleasant stay.

The hostel is nice I have to say, but it could be better. Well, everybody talks about Rosa, unfortunately I did not meet her, the guy who checked me in gave me all the information needed. The location is really good, the hostel is clean, however you don't interact with other guests, I think maybe because there no lounge and the kitchen is not very cosy. One thing that bothered me is that Algeciras is not tourist friendly, I had a good time at the Parque del Centenario, but that was all.

Rosa is a fantastic women is very friendly and helpful. The hostel is in a good and quiet part of the city. This hostel is more of a single room style as opposed to dorm room so not as much opportunity to interact with other guests. I'm guess that most of you are staying here on your way to somewhere else like Gibraltar and if that is the case this is a great hostel that will give you some nice privacy.

When I arrived in Spain, I needed rest. The Lisboa Hostel was perfect! Clean! Secure! Location to bus, post office, bank, plazas, little grocery stores, paper stores -- great location for my needs. Rosa and Juan were very helpful, warm and friendly. Being greeted by kind, friendly staff was very helpful. I *loved* the terrace-top kitchen and eating out under the stars. It was very quaint and peaceful. The facilities were great. I felt secure and felt very comfortable.

It is a new start-up hostel, so there is no rating or much reviews. But no need to worry, everything is fine there. The location is great, 5 min walk to bus station (and train station) 10 min walk to historic center of Faro. So it is good place to stay if you just stayed in Faro for bus transit. No breakfast included, considering the price, it is still a good deal. Not a bar-style hostel, so it is quiet.

Excellent stay! The best stay during our trip around Andalucia and the best value for money! Highly recommended! The owner Rosa and the receptionist were so friendly, nice and helpful people, had a nice chat with them and made me and my boyfriend feel even more welcomed. The room was perfectly cleaned, it smelled really nice, had a fast wifi and a perfectly working shower.

The reviews are true. Rosa is AMAZING. She was so incredibly helpful about organising onward travel and helping me organise my stay in Algeciras and her recommendations for dinner were spot on! I have met a lot of great hostel staff but she would have to be one of the best! And my room was EXACTLY what I was after = clean, private and quiet.

This hostel is very grand, more like a hotel. I had a large ensuite single room for a very good price. It's an easy walk with luggage from the station, a little further to the port. It's also just on the edge of a large modern pedestrian shopping precinct with good shops and cafes. The rooftop kitchen is very basic but welcome. The only problem I had here was a very bright emergency light inside my room, and I couldn't find my eye mask!
