We didn't realize how far away from the city center it was. However, it was really nice to be given free-range by the staff, although some hints and advice might be warranted.

This hostel is very recomended for me, mainly because I went to Portugal by myself, so I had to stay there alone and it was very fun. It\'s in a good location, they have internet all day for free, very good restaurant and bedrooms. Very recomended!

This hostal is very confortable and safety. The rooms are pretty and clean. But the location is not very good, far from the centre of the city and at 20 minutes at the metro by walk. The direction of the hostal is not clear, I had lost. You should send a map with more indications.

Internet available Mon-Fri only - just until 8pm. Management don't understand that people need the internet to book onward travel, communicate with friends etc. Only two showers had curtains. Kitchen has but one battered saucepan. Breakfast good. 15-20 mins walk to Orient station and Vasco da Gama shopping centre.

I enjoyed my stay. Takes maybe 30 minutes to get to downtown/central Lisbon, subway stop 15 mins walk away. Easy public bus transport to/from airport -- as long as you know to get off at Boa Esperanca stop on bus line 44 (PdN: please add this to instructions!!!). Breakfast is standard, no problems with hot water. True about few shower curtains, but ... it's a youth hostel. No wireless, but free computer use. I wish that the staff hadn't been in an argument while I was checking in, though.
