Stayed here from May15-17, 2013. We were welcomed so cheerfully by Chris, he was amazingly accommodating and helpful. The place felt like a home away from home. Loved it there and would recommend to everyone.

We had a great time there, both with the dutch crew over breakfasts and with the staff. It's a shame we didn't get our chance to have a drink with Roberto on our last night ;)

Old Town Hostel kept on surprising us. Me and my friend stayed there for three nights and by the end of it we felt completeley at home. Filipa, the front desk girl was amazing and everyone that worked there really helpful. The meals at night and the bottomless jugs of wine were a massive plus! The location is absolutely perfect, walking distance from all the good stuff Lisbon has to offer. I´d recommend it to every one!! Cheers guys, see you soon!

Very nice place to stay, great staff and good facilities, slightly out of the centre but not very far, there are no locks on the doors but still felt safe

There were ten of us staying in a ten bed dorm for a Stag Do. The room was massive so we all had plenty of space. The hostel was really friendly and invited all guests to eat together in the evening for a small charge. Breakfast was provided and you could help yourself to tea, coffee, cereal and bread/jam. I would recommend to anyone wanting hostel accomodation in Lisbon.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. It is very nice, has a good location and offers you a lot (e.g. good breakfast, nice rooms, dinner, free guided tour...).

This was a great hostel. The staff was always friendly and extremely helpful. We are breakfast every morning before starting our days, and even had dinner at the hostel one of the nights. Great location, great atmosphere, great stay. Would definitely come back again!

great location, nice, helpful staff, good breakfast, cool old building (uk embassy during WW2 someone at the desk told us). The big rooms and hallway echo sometimes, and maybe a posted quiet hours would be nice.

Excellent value for money and centrally located. Most everything was provided that you could ask for. Can't comment much on the atmosphere though as there seemed to be only a handful of people staying there at the time - I had a 10 bed dorm all to myself for three days. Staff was very helpful with any questions I had. All in all, a satisfied customer.

The staff was very helpful and provided us with more than enough information, and gave us accurate directions. The walking tour was good despite a large group, thanks Vera! The beds were nice sized, and the rooms very spacious even though there was quite a few beds in it. The common areas were really nice, there was a very homey feel. Unfortunately there were some quite loud younger teenagers there, that were not respectful of the other guests trying to sleep. Otherwise it was great! Thankyou!:)

Good location, very nice staff - thank you very much for dinner! We also appreciated the free cereals throughout the day :D The hostel itself is nicely furnished and well equipped, we felt very comfortable in the living rooms and kitchens. You guys should work on your WiFi though - it barely covers the whole first floor. Anyhow, I would recommend the hostel to my friends! =)

One of the best hostel I ever stayed. It is very good and not expensive at all. The staff is great and they don't overcharge you for anything. The rooms are huge and very well cleaned, we have a lot of space in the rooms, as well lockers for free. Also you can use and eat the food in the kitchen 24/7. If I come back to Lisbon I will definitely stay there again.

This hostel is a very nice place to stay - especially when you're travelling alone. The staff is nice and calm and always ready to help. The showers on the lower floor are a bit small but the kitchens are nice and clean and ready to use for cooking. Good breakfast and great facilities for internet.

third time in this hostel. one of best i've ever been, though there is some room for improvement (beds in fem dorm on the second floor are a bit noisy). No cards but this was not a problem for me. Good sustantial breakfast, excellent location, great staff and real feeling at home. Though it is a bit different in summer when hostel is full, but it is still great.

Great hostel: excellent location between Bairro Alto and Chiado, in the center but in a quiet area; spacious rooms and equipped kitchens. It's beautiful the atmosphere of sharing and it's easy to make friends. You feel at home and the staff is great: wonderful people, so available and ready to help you with everything you need. Absolutely recommended!

Loved it here! So much that we came back and stayed another 4 days. Staff is super friendly and the location is great. It gets a little chilly at night(it's December after all) but they supply plenty of blankets! I will definitely stay again when I come back to Lisbon.
