Me and some friends went to Lisbon for a weekend, and not wanting to spend a fortune on a hotel thought we would try this place. IT WAS AMAZECORE! Friendly staff. João was knowledgeable about the area and about restaurants. The kitchen was fab to use, and the 24 hour access was incredible. LGBT friendly!!! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Although, I did leave a beer in the fridge and it was gone the next day, but I think that was kismet's way of telling me I drink too much. Go THERE!

Best hostel we've ever been to. The people are very nice and try to help you whenever they can, kind of feels like home when you're there. Moreover Bairro Alto is only a 5 min walk away and the hostel is very clean and comfortable.

The bathroom/toilet was very smelly. A plumbing problem more than anything else perhaps. Unfortunately shared with very drunk, idiotic and inexperienced travellers. Not the hostel's fault but more intervention was needed. They woke up the entire floor. How to teach people like that a lesson?

I've stayed in several Lisbon hostels....and the Old Town Lisbon Hostel is the one I would return to. Extraordinarily helpful and considerate staff. Abundant coffee and continental breakfast ready on time each morn.

the location was good - it was quite close to a metro and the barrio alto area (clubs/bars). They were no locks on the doors but the lockers were big enough to lock away most of your stuff anyway. There weren't many other young people though but the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay. We consisted of ourselves, (fifties) and two kids, (twenties), and the hostel suited us all. Our room was very spacious and clean, and the communal areas were also roomy, and had a relaxed, friendly feel. Breakfast was on hand pretty much whenever you wanted, and cooking facilities were good. In the evenings, there was a lot of socialising, but not noisy enough to be annoying. Staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. We would definitely return.

Decent hostel in a good location. Loud common area that is close to the rooms. Not the best security (there are lockers but there are no locks on the actual rooms). Good breakfast included and helpful staff.

A bit of a task to find. Very friendly staff and offered a good pub crawl. Free breakfest and large rooms.

Nice hostel, great staff and location. Unfortunately my ground floor room was quite noisy (due to its location in front of the living room), bathroom not that great, but ok.

It is a really great hostel! The staff is really friendly and well informed about the city. They speak Ennglishc ,spanish, french and german( at least the german women =) ) The common room is cool and the rooms are big. The only problem is, that you here everything from the floor upstairs.. You almost here every step. But that does not matter that much! The showers are good as well and the location, too. Now they even have a guitar more, becaus emy friend sold his guitar to the hostel.
