Ok, from start to finish I loved everything about this hostel. I had some very nondescript map with no street names and got a little lost, called the hostel and Jo-ao (sp) gave me some very accurate directions, even calling back to make sure I wasn't lost (again).The rooms are HUGE for the number of beds compared to other hostels. Very close to everything. The living, dining, and reception qtrs are warm, clean, and friendly. The dinner prepared by Anna was out of a 5-star hotel. :)

It's a wonderful hostel, I've been there before and I'll only stay somewhere else in Lisbon if there's no room here :P

Great location for going out at night, right next to Bairro Alto for the bars and restaurants and a short walk to the clubs along the harbour but not close enough for the noise to disturb you at night. Great staff, nice common areas and the breakfast was really good. The only bad thing was there were not as many girls toilets when compared to male and they had a funny smell and the dorm rooms had no locks but the security lockers were good.

The staff and guests were great fun. The breakfast was quite good, particularly the bread. The lockers with the provided key were also quite convenient. Location is both central and close to the nightlife. I would definitely stay here again.
