Very good experience. We had a private room that was 30% lower than local hotels and also a kitchen and very helpful staff. One employee in particular spent 2-3 hours trying to help us get from Lisboa to Obidos to Porto on the same day. If traveling to Lisboa again, I would not even look at other places unless the Poets Hostel were full.

This hostel is located in lovely Chiado in Lisbon, surrounded by nice restaurants and picturesque little streets with cafés and shops. Very nice place with helpful and kind staff, fresh and nice looking rooms. The breakfast is kind of boring though, I recommend eating elsewhere. Definitely recommending this hostel all in all!

It is the third time that I am staying at the Lisbon Poets in the private rooms and I love it, my friend loved it too, and my mom as well. I am recommending it to everyone!

We loved staying at the Lisbon Poets´ Hostel. It had so much atmosphere and the staff were so helpful - absolutely delightful. Our one regret was that due to flight delays from Australia we missed our 1st night so only had 2 nights at the hostel.

I think it`s a really good place to stay for a few days in Lissabon – due to its position in the city near ‚commercial place‘ and all the nice buildings and small streets around.

I had made a booking in another hostel and even though I changed my booking well in advance, they could not transfer the paid fee to the new booking at the hostel. In the end I lost the money of the first booking. It's a pity that the administration is so complicated. They could have just tranfer the fee to the new booking.

The only problem we had was that the air extractor in the bedroom was broken and would make noise all night.

Algumas portas com fechadura estvam abertas quando chegávamos ao quarto. Não há cofres nos quartos. O sinal do wi-fi do hotel não alcançou bem o quarto em que eu estava (Cesariny).

Poets Hostel was beautiful and had a perfect location. Furthermore, it was clean and well-run without losing a sense of personality.
