Really great location, cleanliness and staff. Breakfast was a choice of cereals, fresh fruit, toast, juice, coffee, and tea. I didn't have the dinner but it always looked and smelled amazing. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Huge lockers for everyone able to fit at least 2 bags in! In Lisbon, definitely go everywhere on foot, everything is so close and its the best way to stumble on hidden gems. I especially recommend doing a night walk through Alfama and seeing some Fado.

Good hostel, very clean and great facilities. I was only there for one night by myself before flying home. If you want a quiet night in a good hostel with good facilities this is the place to go. Poets does lack a social lifestyle from what I could gather, so if you are young and looking to party I dont recommend as much as other hostels.

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my three roommates and we had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hostel was clean, safe and great location right next to the metro. I loved the family style dinners every night and the wine tasting is a much. A great find in the beautiful city of Lisbon.

For sure one of the best hostel i've stayed in: clean, comfortable, in the middle of the city. Especially if travelling alone the atmosphere is perfect: you'll find a lot of nice people in the living room to have dinner/party with!!! highly raccomended!!

Had a fantastic time in both Poets hostels Lisbon and Porto. They are more than just a places to cruch into a bed. Warm and pleasant environment of both hostels offers best opportunity to socialise or simply mind your own bussines and read a book. Staff is happy enough to introduce travellers to local people. High standard of Poets made an impression.

Exceptionally well located, the private rooms are amazing! The most beautiful ones i've seen in my life! Thought the bathrooms are shared, they are plenty, clean and big. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. and i've been to many! =)

The hostel was wonderful! It was definitely the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The huge living room is amazing, as is the kitchen. The rooms are spacious and the bunk beds are actually stable (which is usually not a given). Poets Hostel is right next to Bairro Alto and two big shopping streets which makes it perfectly located. Furthermore, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. If you go here you feel welcomed and appreciated!
