The elevator was broken when we stayed there, since the hostel was on the 5th floor it was little uncomfortable. the location of the hostel is great. but you need ear plugs to sleep with windows open as its kind of loud in the streets at night. the toilets and the bathrooms are in not so good condition.
When i come back at Poets Hostel the only thing i've thought: home sweet home...I suggest to stay here. Thanks to the staff helped me to find an other accomodation when Poets Hostel was full...but the first period i stayed ther was amazing...

Great stay, always a good atmosphere and the staff are a pleasure to hang out with, I would recommend this to people who like to meet like minded travellers that like to party.
This hostel had a great atmosphere. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the tours run by Elliot were great!
The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing to say is that it can be pretty noisy when people walk down the wooden floor corridor at night.
Excellent location, comfy bed and living area to come home to after great days and nights wandering around Lisbon.
A great hostel for relaxing and having a great time. The rooms are clean and modern, and the living space was top notch. Definitely a great place to set some roots and see Lisbon.
One of the best hostels i've stayed in! Fantastic staff/adept pizza makers and a cool vibe! Wish we could of stayed longer! Rooftop is not to be missed at the moment!
Perfect location just 10 secs away from the central metro station, very nice view on Lisbon from the main room and a a very variable buffet breakfast. Totally recommended.
Great location. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Kitchen for cooking is very nice and clean. Had a good time and would recommend this place.
Location is really good and easy to find. Also stuff is really good, they are so helpful. But there is no soap at the toilets if you add some soap on there, you will close to be perfect.

It was a quiet hostel, but still the walls were like paper. Our room was right next to the reception and the reception staff kept chatting all through the night. Ear plugs are a must if you are a light sleeper. I have been to 3 different hostels in Lisbon and liked this one the least. However, that's more about the overall (awesome!) quality of hostels in Lisbon. Poets was alright as well!
Great lounge area, good breakfast, wonderful location.
Really good location but you have to accept that means it can be a bit noisy at night. Lots of things laid on for guests to do - walks - pub crawls - dinner. Really helpful staff and an adequate free breakfast - one of my favourite hostels
The hostel 'in a excellent location. Clean and organized ... more 'hipster that poets!
Let's take it briefly, shall we? And briefly because first impressions pretty much lead you to love or hate a place. For Poets Hostel we got: lovely staff, nice view, charming facilities and cosy deco, super clean showers and toilets, superb location. Friendly and chatty atmosphere, as if you were at some friend's place. They won't tell you but you'll get it straight: hotels are conceived for tourists while hostels stay soulful and ready for truth travellers. Cheers =)
The staff were all very friendly, especially the man. Immediately he made us feel welcome and showed us around. We were a little disappointed in that people were not very friendly or open to conversation in the living room.
