Probably the most beautiful hostel I have ever seen. Very sweetly decorated and a huge, cozy living room.

Here is what I have written as telegraphic recommandation. Thanks for all and congratulations for the place. A very nice hostel, breakfast included, very well situated (in the center of Lisbon, 10 seconds from subway station), a nice kitchen and a very nice collective room (with very good-taste decoration), staff very friendly, activities proposed every evening,... If i have to come back to Lisbon, I definitely know where to go.

Happy with my stay, clean and modern hostel, with an imaginative theme. Helpful friendly staff, and well located within the city centre, both for sights, and public transport links..

It is not easy to find the right words to describe the Poets Hostel. Fantastic? Excellent? Perfect? All of these can be used. I met the amazing staff of the hostel in the first days I moved in Lisbon and they helped me a lot in everything, including finding a «quarto» to live in. The result after 6 days of search? That I didn't want to leave the hostel! Pedro, Joana & Andrea will make your days there. Just choose it. The position is super: it could be an extension of Baixa/Chiado metro.

Overall a really good quality hostel. Improvements that could be made are to install more bright lights for reading, and brighter lights in the rooms. Lighting in the common room was too dull to read under, and the lighting in the rooms is very poor. Also, please provide keys which do not break easily. I wasted my five euro deposit on a key which broke without any force applied when placed into the lock. This is frustrating and seems like a pure money making scheme.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful in finding restaurants, bars, etc. They were always smiling and socializing with guests. The kitchen is huge and there is plenty of space to cook as well as hang out in the large common area.

The Hostel was very clean and very stylish. The Atmosphere was "only good" just due to lack of visitors at this time of the year. Otherwise the hostel was excellent! Particulary the common room, which invites you to sit down and relax! The staff was very nice and helpful! The hostel situated right around the corner of café a brasileira in Lisbon, where Fernando Pessoa used to sit and write. The hostel is calm and a good place to rest altough it is very well located in the city center!

Poets is an awesome hostel. It’s in the heart of Lisbon and in mine too. Is indeed a name to share. The landscape is poetry, the common room, where you also eat your meals, is illuminated, well decorated and wide. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The rooms are silent, tidy and the beds are confortable. Among all this qualities, you can add the staff, which is capable, friendly and available. An outstanding member of the team is Joana Pereira, a girl with a talent to greet well.
