The staff is friendly and helpful, the place is clean and apealing. Highly advise you to choose the place. The only shortcoming was breakfast which is "smaller" than usually provided by hostels.

Great hostel, the only problem was they told us there was a breakfast, so we dindt buy nothing to eat..but there was only coffe and bread. No cheese, nothing. So, better prepare and buy somethings at some bakery..but very good reception!! So simpathethyc! And clean rooms :)

Really great hostel. Staff had suggestions for local things to do every day and helped us with making reservations and directions. In the gorgeous historic district and about a 10 minute walk uphill from the city center. Take a taxi the first time you go there or you are apt to get lost in all of the historic streets (5-10€) but overall one of my favorite hostels.

I was very happy with the hostel. Even though it's not right in the center, it doesn't matter, because the location was so beautiful. What could be better, is that there are no locked lockers to leave for example passport in. You should bring your own lock for that. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about the hostel!!

It's a very nice place to spend some nights: close to the city in a very lively area. The staff is very nice! :-) The sharp ascent from the Metrostation Martim Moniz to the hostel is worth!

Everything was super good, the rooms, the location, the staff was really nice - we only wished our room would've been cleaned more often during our stay, but all in all, everything was super nice and clean, we'd definitely recommend it or get back there next year.

One of the best hostels i have ever stayed in! we stayed in the double room with own bathroom. it is a light and beautiful room, very clean. the bathroom was big and clean too, almost like staying in a hotel. breakfast was basic. the location is good, Alfama is a wonderful part of lisbon, but it is not in the city center, you have to walk about 10 minutes to the center or take the tram. staff was very helpful and friendly. everything worked well. we had a perfect stay there and will come back!

Lisbon Soul is a very pretty hostel with lots of Portuguese charm - once you find it!! Its really tucked away and difficult to find as its a tiny doorway with a tiny sign in the middle of the maze-like roads of Al Fama. Although Lisbon Soul is pretty, this is definitely NOT a party hostel and it is VERY quiet. Location is good and you can get to all the main sights. Very helpful reception staff too

Staff was super nice and, once you found it (find and follow the tram rails) the location was good. My only complaint was that the top bunks are a bit close to the ceiling so if you're tall watch your head!

It was just great! Lisbon Soul Hostel really has its own SOUL and a fantastic atmosphere! The stuf is very friendly, you can always meet some people in the kitchen and have nice talks, in the same time having some privacy in not to big rooms

Staff was super friendly and helpful and spoke decent English, too. A well equipped kitchen and a cosy common room. The location was perfect - very close to the castle and some amazing viewpoints over the Alfama. The hostel is pretty new and the only downside was that it wasn't that easy to find. Best way to get there is either walking from Santa Apolonia or taking the tram 12 or 28 getting off at Largo Das Portas Do Sol. All in all a very recommendable place to stay in Lisbon!

We had a nice stay at the Lisbon Soul Hostel. The staff was friendly. Location is perfect. It was very clean. But it was difficult to find, we got lost on the tangled streets of the Alfama.

This was one of the most pleasant stays I have had at a hostel. The staff was very friendly. Everything was extremely clean including the bathrooms. The common areas were comfortable. The only suggestion is better directions to the hostel from the metro. The walking directions could be improved with more landmarks or even to include something like "follow this road up the stairs." Overall a really good experience!
