Location is so good to walk around Alfama area. And cheap... but staff.. was not friendly just said check a map. or don't know.. It may probably depend on staff..

A little loud as expected by a hostel, nut it was clean, centrally located and had a great kitchen/living area.

One of the best hostels you'll ever stay in - definitely worth the steep walk uphill from the metro. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, cool vibe, all in a really nice old apartment building just metres from the Castle.

I thought the location was really great! It's at a central location and only a 10-15 min walk away from many main sites. The staff was so friendly and VERY helpful with advice on which places to see and instructing you on how to get there. Towels are included and they have many bathrooms with pretty big showers. The room was neat and clean, and it was inexpensive too! Overall, would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed for 1 night in the apartment which is located 2mins away from the hostel in the middle of Alfama district. The apartment was really nice with a clean bathroom, kitchen and even washing machine. It is located on the ground floor so it is not very light but we were not there during the day anyway. The (sofa) bed was not extremely comfortable but for 1 night it was ok. Also the floor in the apartment was quite dirty. The location is good but there is not much going on in Alfama at night.

great great hostel! amazing what you get for that price, but if you do not want to sweat for 30 min, take a cab or get out downtown at the Metro- Station and take the tram up, cause walking up that hill with tons of stairs and small confusing paths is tricky and exhausting

When we asked the staff to some additionnal informations for great spots and highlights in the city, they didn't have anything special to recommand. The room was great, a little bit noisy. Great location.

The staff is really kind, the hostel is located in a very beautiful region with outstanding panoramic views. The rooms and facilities are quite good.

Our main problem was that the apartment was located on floor level, in a dirty street and the only window for light and fresh air was in contention with the dirty street! Didn't feel save at all to open this in the night while sleeping. I am not claustrophobic at all but this dark room with no fresh air made us feel very uncomfortable! Photos lie! Another thing: I emailed you (same email as receiving our reservation) to make a note about this, and we didn't receive a answer from your company!

This was an excellent hostel in every way. It was in a very central and interesting local part of Lisbon with good views of the city and transport connections. The hostel was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable and plenty of showers. The staff were very helpful and the other guests extremely pleasant. I would stay here again.

Great hostel in a very charming neighborhood with easy access to the city centre. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean room, toilets and kitchen. I'll certainly be back soon!

Nice and cheap hostel that is quite confortable and very well located. Only flaw, there was no breakfast, even though it said otherwise and it was one of the reasons I chose this hostel.

Had a realy great time in there. It is sorounded by the beauty of Lisbon's great historic centre called Alfama and the building itself is a beautiful old house. On the upper floor there is a nice kitchen and also a cozy living room with a computer, tv and some couches and beanbags. The Staff is realy friendlich and helpfull. The only thing one can criticize is that some bathrooms and showers are covered with mold. All in all it is one of the most beautiful hostels i've ever stayed at.

Rooms are very small - this is ok for the price - but the mould on the walls, in the windows and especially in the shower was not acceptable.
