Hostel was great, a little out the way but great views and something different to the downtown area! Not party hostel, very few people but they were friendly and so were staff. Overall great place in good location would recommend

Stayed for 4 nights in a fantastic room, had everything we needed in the kitchen and even a balcony to watch the streets below. The location was great, close to the castle and a few local (cheap!) bars and round the corner from a supermarket. The views from the area were spectacular and it was right next to the tram line. The staff were great and helped us planning our days or recommending where to eat. Had a great stay!

This hostel is nice, but it's in Alfama, I needed to walk to the hostel for 15-20 mins. Actually, you can take tram if you want. Overall it's good.

Very nice, bright and friendly but a little bit noisy, due to thin wall and a lot of cars on the street under the windows. Plus nice (and beautiful) staff and open/friendly people who also stayed in the hostel.

Excellent hostel for sight seers but it is up on a steep hill; rather a hassle if you want to go out or come back during the day. Nice kitchen & common area, good wifi, clean & friendly, but if you are staying for longer and prefer going out at night and not walking up & down steep hills (I didn't mind) then stay in Bario Alto.

The hostel was very dirty with mould growing on the walls. The electricity kept cutting off: Not the best thing to happen when you are taking a shower. The building was very cold. Staff were helpful but could have offered more advice on what to do in the city.
