The hostel is very good! Thanks to Angelica that made "caipirinhas" as I ever never drink before.

Lisetonga Hostel is a great place near Leme Beach. It’s also just a walk of about 10 minutes to get to Nossa Senhora de Copacabana (shopping) and to Copacabana Beach. Our room, Bratislava, was really great. The beds are comfortable and sheets were provided by the staff. The view from the balcony was also amazing. The staff was great. Very friendly guys and girls, helped us to find someplace to have dinner and let us print our boarding cards for our flight. We would definitively stay there again

Really enjoyed staying here - definitely best value for money and nicest hostel in Rio! Easy to meet other travellers, really nice communal areas, comfy beds, helpful staff, great location + the hill makes you feel like you deserve one of their lush caipirinhas when you get to the hostel!

It is a very good hostel in average. I actually extended my staying there. The way from the beach or the bus stops is considered safe for backpackers. The facilities are in excellent condition. Only one advise for the hostel, put on more attractions and the things that can be done, especially some events are going on in Rio.

Loved this place. Great people, great staff, great atmosphere that makes it really easy to meet people. Right near copacabana, when I first got there I was a little worried about the location but never felt close to unsafe. Only issue was there was loud music playing right outside my window in the morning both days that woke me up.

Cousy, colorful and safe hostel located near Copacabana beach. We were staying two weeks with my friend and enjoying a lot. Staff was friendly and location good - the only minus is that you must walk long hill up to get to the hostel but afterall that was quite good excercise. :) Lisetonga offers a good breakfast, hammocks and tasty caipirinhas - so you can simply just relax and enjoy. Rooms can be a bit noisy at some point, but that didnt bother us anyway.

The hostel and staff were very welcoming. Owing to an early flight arrival, the hostel welcomed me an even invited me to breakfast although my check in was due only later in the afternoon. It is a steep walk, one that I did once otherwise it is a BRL10 taxi ride if not there is a moto taxi ride option for BRL2.50 ( helmet provided ). It is very close to a favela and provides an interesting view into the lives of ordinary people in that area. Not once did I feel unsafe - locals were friendly.

A nice place once you entered the door to the hostel. A steep hill has to be climbed first to reach the hostel though. Not a place for quiet evenings since rooms are noisy due to loud music being played until 11-12 at night.

Lovely hostel with real buzz and atmosphere. Not too big so easy to meet friends straight away. Beautiful house in small favela, very safe and lots of character, minutes from the beach. I strongly recommend it.

My very first impression coudnt be better! I forgot my locker key at home (but lock my bag) and very kind miss, that works there, made everything to help me open my luggage. Everyone in the staff is amazing, the location is great, my room was lovely ( there was a very loud guest, but you hardly can blame the hostel abt this ;) ). every place was uber clean, has a lovely bar, great people working and a amazing vibe. i'll be back for sure! Thank you guys, for everything.
