First impressions were not good. The outside area before getting to our room, looked like a Chinese laundry! There was washing everywhere, and looked untidy and grubby. The room was small, but had everything that you would need for a short stay, and a balcony with a table and chairs, overlooking the main street. No traffic, so no noise. Again, the appearence let the room down. The beds had multi coloured mismatched bedding on, which reminded me of my mum's curtains from the 70's.
So glad we had kitchen access! That made it easy to cook meals and stay within our budget. We also appreciated the private bathroom - very spacious!
Cute little room in a really central location with a balcony that looks over the main road. Only criticism would be that the bathroom and particularly shower was quite small, but we had it all to ourselves so wasn't too much of an issue.

Lovely little place. Very well located, and the staff are nice. In our room we had our own kitchen, bathroom and even a terrace! The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
Lisettarooms was wonderful! Margherita was a very welcoming host and we appreciated her kind nature. We can't comment on her lack or ability to speak English, as we communicated with her just fine in broken Italian. The room is small and quaint, but there is everything you could want for a few days in Vernazza. She even included beach towels! We did have a little trouble finding the place - streets in Vernazza are not well marked - so be sure to ask a local for Via Mazzini if you need help.
The person who rents the room does not speak English, so it was difficult to communicate with her. The room was directly across from hers, so you had to be very quiet. It is located at the top of a bunch of stairs, so it was tough to carry our luggage to the room. It was older and run down, and the bedding smelled musty. The bed was too hard also.
Location and room were fantastic, the host was the best. Very accommodating. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling through the region.

We were surprised at the not so positive comments left because we loved our room and the location of the hostel! We arrived at 4.30pm at Vernazza and the owner's girlfriend was kind enough to wait for us and gave us all the necessary information and details. We loved the room - spacious, lovely clean toilet and of course, we spent a lot of time at the terrace. The owner was pleasant, friendly and kind! Granted, the terrace did not face the sea, but it was like a 1 -2 mins walk to the sea anyway!
Friendly and very helpful owner. Room was clean and in an awesome location. Right on the hiking Cinque Terre hiking trail and near local restaurants.

The room is in a good spot within the town, although there are no views of the water / harbor. You can see the main street. There isn't a lot of privacy though - there are various holes covered with mesh wire to the exterior that make you feel exposed to the outside. Basic facilities, decent bed. I got a better bang for my buck where I stayed in Riomaggiore. They don't speak much english, and the instruction emails are only in Italian.
The owner was very friendly! We arrived quite some time before we said we were going to arrive, and stopped by just to drop our bags off. They didn't quite understand, but they gave us one of the rooms that had already been clean and so we checked-in then. I really wish there was a kitchen, and it looked like they were installing one while we were staying there. I have no complaints about the place. It was a very nice, simple place. The directions were not that hard either. Google translate them
Nice apartment which is located in the center of Vernazza. It was clean and quiet. Lizetta was very nice when welcoming us and was patient to wait for us when we got lost in the town :).
Lovely location, and very friendly owners. We had the privacy of our own room with ensuite kitchen (stove, microwave, sink, pots, cutlery, kettle, etc) and balcony overlooking the main street in Vernazza. Suitable for couples, singles, or friends/family who are willing to share the large bed (with extra blankets). WiFi wasn't available. Enjoyed the relaxing outdoors and a book instead. The owner has very limited English and French, but her son is much more fluent. Would stay here again!
We are fully satisfied with this apartment: small cozy room with a nice romantic terrace and all necessary equipment, perfect location in the very center of Vernazza, just several steps from the harbor and beach. The room perfectly reflects the magic atmosphere of the area. We would also like to highlight the hospitality of the landlord.
Clean and comfortable room in the centre of Vernazza, just a short walk from the train station and the harbour. Lovely terrace area overlooking the main street. The bed is comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom are adequate and well kitted out. We were most grateful to be able to do a load of washing too! It's not luxurious, but it has everything you need for a self-catered stay in the Cinque Terra.
it is a very basic accommodation, and i cannot stress the word basic enough. but the owners are warm and welcoming (which can be difficult to find in the cinque terre). you get exactly what you see in the pictures and if you expect anything more, you will be disappointed. it is ok for a one night stay but should have been cheaper.
