First impressions were not good. The outside area before getting to our room, looked like a Chinese laundry! There was washing everywhere, and looked untidy and grubby. The room was small, but had everything that you would need for a short stay, and a balcony with a table and chairs, overlooking the main street. No traffic, so no noise. Again, the appearence let the room down. The beds had multi coloured mismatched bedding on, which reminded me of my mum's curtains from the 70's.

So glad we had kitchen access! That made it easy to cook meals and stay within our budget. We also appreciated the private bathroom - very spacious!

Cute little room in a really central location with a balcony that looks over the main road. Only criticism would be that the bathroom and particularly shower was quite small, but we had it all to ourselves so wasn't too much of an issue.

Lovely little place. Very well located, and the staff are nice. In our room we had our own kitchen, bathroom and even a terrace! The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Lisettarooms was wonderful! Margherita was a very welcoming host and we appreciated her kind nature. We can't comment on her lack or ability to speak English, as we communicated with her just fine in broken Italian. The room is small and quaint, but there is everything you could want for a few days in Vernazza. She even included beach towels! We did have a little trouble finding the place - streets in Vernazza are not well marked - so be sure to ask a local for Via Mazzini if you need help.

The person who rents the room does not speak English, so it was difficult to communicate with her. The room was directly across from hers, so you had to be very quiet. It is located at the top of a bunch of stairs, so it was tough to carry our luggage to the room. It was older and run down, and the bedding smelled musty. The bed was too hard also.
