Extremely friendly staff, quite clean rooms. The price is maybe a bit high, and the house is located on a hill with many stairs. 20 minutes walk from the beach and the centrum... Not a perfect location, but a wierd cousy house, with all you need.

I hate saying things like this but this has been the best hostel I´ve stayed in to date. The owner is an uber friendly persona, happy to book things for you like call taxis or give suggestions about places to eat and drink that you won´t find other tourists visiting. The hostel itself is only a few blocks from the centre of Vina, it has good views and it´s very well secured. Vina is great for going to Valpo in the morning and then relaxing at Renaca beach in the afternoon. Terrific hostel.

Its a family house on the top the hill with a very friendly owner, Patricio. Lovely view for Vina del Mar - especially in the night. I spent there the Christmas and they were extremely friendly! We had a Christmas dinner together. THe hostel owner cooked for us a very delicious Arabic rice.

The Little Castle is great. It's sort of a cross between a bed & breakfast and a hostel; a perfect place to relax and meet other travelers without all the noise and partying of a typical backpacker's hostel. The main room has a sweet view of Viña, breakfast is good, the prices for private rooms are some of the lowest in town, and Patricio is one of the nicest guys I have met in all of my travels.

The bed was comfortable and the room was secure. apart from having trouble finding the place and the stairs, its got a nice location on top of the hill with a large window in the lounge room. My room had a really strong smell of some sort of aerosole spray which stayed even after opening my window. The guys working there were generally helpful but the breakfast was very minimal for a B&B and low quality.

We stayed in the spacious private double room, with a large closet and an awesome view of Vina. Patricio really made us feel like guests at his house. The kitchen was one of the cleanest on our 3 months in SA and definitely had the sharpest knives. Breakfast was great with fresh fruits and bread w/ guacamole! Highly recommended!

great hostel in a good and safe location. Nice staff - nothing seems too much trouble for them. Breakfast is nice too. Lovely old house that the hostel is in. More of a guesthouse than a hostel. Would recommend

¡¡Altamente recomendable!!

The hostel is more like a guesthouse, it was nice to have so much space and privacy, as well as an amazing location. We were given excellent advice on Vina and Valparaiso by Patricio, and had a super time during our stay there.

Great spot on the hill overlooking town, about 5-10 mins from the centre. The owner Patricio is very friendly, very warm & made our stay fantastic: good tips of walks to take, places to eat, buses & so on. Nothing was too much trouble. The house was nice & quiet when we were there (what we wanted) but he tells us it can be quite the party in the summertime. Kitchen is well equipped, breakfast is great (we had avocado on toast), wifi in most of the house & nice hot showers. A nice memory in Chile

Google translate the reviews that are in Spanish! We loved Little Castle! This place is great! I can't recommend it enough! The house has a great view and great location. It is very secure and safe. There is free wifi internet and a computer you can use if you don't have a laptop or iPhone/iPod. The host is very very very nice and helpful! He speaks fluent English! We had our car broken into while in Valprasio and he helped us get things straightened out. Definitely stay here!

We had an amazing stay at Little Castle. Originally, we intended to stay 4 nights but ended up staying a whole week. The hostel itself is fantastic, full of character. The owner, Patricio, is friendly and welcoming. He also speaks great English, is very knowledgeable about Vina and the surrounding region and makes a great breakfast. If you want to experience the "real Chile" whilst staying in Vina, I suggest you stay here.

Little Castle is a little gem in Vina Del Mar. The owner was brill & had very good English. He made sure we enjoyed our stay- with plenty of information about the city. One of the nights the owner made dinner for us and some other guests- was a great evening. The hostel is up some steps in a very safe neighbourhood with a great view over the city.

Beautiful old house on a hill overlooking vina, we stayed in an upstairs room which I think would be the best place to stay, though I didn't see the downstairs rooms. Patricio is a great host with many a good tale to tell and serves a tasty fresh bread breakfast ..... he's also eager to help you plan your time in vina etc. All in all a lovely stay and would recommend.

The hostel is super-cute but bedrooms are small (also, we asked for four beds and got two rooms each with double beds which was fine but unexpected). It's within walking distance of most attractions in Viña but there are a TON of stairs to climb or a rather steep street to walk up every time you want to enter the hostel. Great views of the city, but you can't see the ocean from the hostel.

Beautiful mansion situated on a hilltop overlooking the main road of the town. Walking distance from beach, shopping center, restaurants, bars/nightlife. VERY secure and clean. The owner was fabulous and very helpful. Speaks great English and very willing to offer guidance/advice. Breakfast and WIFI included. Very fun stay. Definitely recommended.
