The staff took care of me when I was in Hanoi. I couldn't find any bank that will change my Philippine peso on my first day so they lend me some cash for the trip. :) The staffs are very friendly: Ms Tam, Bing and Zoom. I'm very grateful to have met them. I wish I could go back soon.

Exceptionally helpful, friendly staff. Helped us book a wonderful trip to Ha Long Bay with Alova Cruises, local map, assistance finding a gym and hairdresser. Returned laundry was the first we really thought had been washed! Free tea, coffee, juice and fruit a real treat. Good breakfast. Large, clean rooms + fridge, good air con and TV. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful little place in a quieter section of the old town, but still close in. The staff are super-attentive, to the extent that at first I was nervous they might be trying to get some commissions, but actually I left with the impression that they were just really friendly and wanted to make sure I had a good time in Hanoi. The dorm room was exceptional for the price. I'll definitely stay there again next time I'm in Hanoi.

Located just in the middle of Hanoi Old Quarter, a very perfect location for tourist! We love Zoom and May, they are very nice, helpful, sincere, and fun, they are the best staffs! Moreover, this is a hostel with HOTEL service&quality, room for dorm is really spacious, and the bathroom's huge&hotel's quality. we got free breakfast as well. Just one drawback, there is not enough "mingle space" between travelers here. however, everything is just perfect here if you want to browse the Hanoi Old Qtr

Lovely guesthouse in a good location. Clean & spacious rooms. Staff were outstanding. Restaurant served delicious food & fresh fruit smoothies. Breakfast was included & was definitely worth getting up for! One man in particular made are stay so much more enjoyable... Dung Doan or slightly easier to pronounce Zoom who worked on reception. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he was so incredibly helpful, funny, caring & kind. A proper gentleman. He helped us adjust to the Vietnamese way of life!

Our stay at the hostel, although quite short, was something that all of us really enjoyed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the free breakfast was basic but filling, and the entire hotel was kept clean to the point that we all thought that we were staying in a 4 star hotel. Thanks to the staff for helping us to plan out our trips around northern Vietnam, to Sapa, HaLong Bay and Tam Coc - they made it super easy and straightforward to book tours and the like!

The staff here were always really friendly and willing to help; which came in handy many times. Loved having complimentary breakfast in the morning to start our day. There are a lot of stairs, depending what floor your room is on, but we didn't mind. The location is in the heart of the old quarter and you can easily walk anywhere. I really liked my stay here.

I thought it was a really nice, clean dorm--even had a tv-- with lots of natural light. THe only thing i didn't like too much was when I was checking out in the lobby, a guest who was lodging a complaint about something was treated very rudely by the management. The supposed owner even went as far as to try to include other guests in the lobby in the argument and ended up making the girl cry. Not a good impression. Other than that, it was excellent though.

Would recommend this place to everyone. High standard of accommodation for the price. If you book a tour through the reception, you can get them down on price. We booked ha long bay with them for $100 and the boat was fantastic. Other cruises had boat envy!

I couldn't recommend this place more! The staff are amazing, so friendly, welcoming and very happy to help, lots of advice with places to go/eat and things to do. The rooms are as you would expect from a hostel, beds pretty comfy, lockers and good shower. There is always tea/coffee and fruit available througout the day in the reception and restaurant downstairs. Great location, close to most things you'll want to visit. I'd definitely stay again!

A clean, well-run hotel/hostel located in a great part of the old quarter of Hanoi. Free breakfast, computers, and easy booking of trips onward make this a great place to land. The dorm is spotless, and has a great bathroom, though only 1 for 8 people Try the nearby local buses when traveling onward and save big.

Overall it was a nice and clean hostel/hotel. BUT be careful to book a tour there. It is really overcharged!
