The staff members were more than friendly and helpful and the hostel is a DEFINITE bargain for the price. Their tours however, are on the mid to higher price range but definitely worth taking for the convenience (haggling is very long-winded and do not lower prices much in Hanoi). I deeply enjoyed in the Fantasia tour to Halong Bay I booked with them. Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend them!

Good and Bad...Some staff were helpful others not so much. The dorm is on the 6th floor (lots of stairs)....only one room key for 4 people and no locker...so I would question the security of this place. Although, no bunk beds...which was pretty cool. Then I got back from Halong Bay and had a reservation...but they sent me to their sister property. Not exactly happy since my reservation was there and my bags were already stored there. The sister property was 6 bed (bunks) on first floor.

The service staff were good. They were very helpful and gave recommendations based on how long your stay was. My trip to Hanoi would not have been awesome if not for them. The rooms were quite good too for the price. Really value for money.

I loved staying here. The people were so friendly and caring. The guy at the front desk even rang my room to remind me that there was free breakfast and that I hadn't had it yet. The beds were nice and the room was clean. Bathroom was spacious and rooms were cleaned everyday. Couldn't have asked for much more. Really enjoyed my stay!

The hotel staff were amazing, negotiating with my taxi driver, getting me sorted with directions, and making sure I was always comfortable and clued in. Much nicer room than I expected for the money. And the wifi router was in the room, so signal was strong.

Great spacious and clean rooms. Staff is good, but can be a little pushy about certain tours, however they will help you with advice and free transfers if you chose not to book through them. The receptionist can look a little fake (calling your name, asking same questions), but are actually really friendly and helpful. There is a basic but good breakfast. We came back after our trip to Halong Bay and again after our trip to Sapa. Both times we got free transfers.

There are similar hotels like this (location, rooms etc) but here the staff is super friendly and very helpfull. They let us hang out for a couple of hours (after returning from a 3 day trip and waiting for the next train) and use the shower, have a free breakfast. Small detail: we booked a tour to sapa with them, but directly in sapa or through an other agency. The tour itself was not that special.. If you do your homework a trip to sapa could be much better regardless the friendly staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The 4 bed "dorm" is really just a huge hotel room, very nice bed and linens. Toilet is big and clean too.
