Good stay and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was nice. They helped me book tours and a train ticket for an ok price.

The best staff I have ever encountered in a hostel. You can continue to make use of the hostel's facilities when you come back from trips/tours even if you are not staying the night. Each of the three main reception workers went above and beyond to make my stay more enjoyable. Kim helped me plan out my entire itinerary in Vietnam. Zum helped me get some last minute tour and train booking done. David brought me out for a few beers on my last night. Stay here if you are going to Hanoi!

Of all the places we stay on our travels Vietnam is like a college of hospitality of the highest order. Little Hanoi Hostel (number 48 Hang Ga, note the address [not 46]) With Kim and staff are at the top of the industry in Hanoi. The cool drink and great welcome by natural, friendly people is unsurpassed. All requests by us to discover the things to do were met with a perfect balance of cost, comfort and efficiency by the staff. From Sa Pa to Indo-China(Halong Bay) both were as good or better

Very nice hostel in the old quarters, very good location. Rooms were big and clean, and private bathrooms were excellent! The free breakfast was good. Staff absolutely brilliant! The nicest people, helped us with tours to Halong Bay and Sapa. Always smiling and just really friendly! Would definitely recommend this hostel!

Actually while we checked-in, they missed out our reservation, then transferred to Little Hanoi Diamond Hotel where is the other place but also belongs to the same owner. Staff are nice and try to introduce all the tours to us. Remember it, all the tours no matter you book through the hostel or travel agency, they will charge a lot and variable price to everyone even for the same tour, it is a place where scam a lot money from tourists. They are good at selling and negotiation the price.

The staff at this hostel are what makes it so great. Kim and David were both so helpful in booking tours and train tickets. When my trip to Halong Bay got cut short due to weather, Kim rearranged all my travel so I could get to other places earlier to make the most of my trip. Also helpful in suggesting where to go in the city. The free tea, coffee and fruit all day is awesome! Showers and breakfast offered even when just coming back from Sapa and leaving for Hue on the same day. 5 star service!

Really enjoyed my stay here. They are organizing nice trips for fair money (Sapa or Ha long bay). David was great to chat with and drink tea and coffee.

We have been travelling for 3,5 months in South East Asia, and Little Hanoi Hostel was a highlight of our trip. The staff is amazing, they helped us in so many ways, transportation, trips, information, etc. Best service, highly recommended!

The value of this hostel can't be beat! It is very inexpensive, and you get everything free with it: coffee, tea, towel, fresh-cut fruit, breakfast, lunch (yummy instant noodles), and of course, David. David is the man that mostly runs the place, and he's awesome. He's busy and overworked all the time, but he is always helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. I think the only thing that could be improved is the quality of the lighting of the dorm bathroom, but that's nothing at all.

The staff was lovely and made a point to know their guests well while helping as much to their ability. I arrived at 3 AM from a long bus ride and they welcomed me in! Location is decent. Dorm room is small but cosy.

The free pick up at the airport worked out really well. The staff at the hostel is really nice and helpfull (David and Maria were always smiling and helping us with all kind of questions). Trip to Sa Pa was good organized, you needn't worry about a thing, because everything was taken care of. If you have too much luggage you can also leave it at the hostel (for free) and pick it up later, when you come back.

Nice enough Hostel. Definitely feel it was better for pairs, than a solo traveler. Somewhat difficult to tie down any lasting friendships. Most people would be off on a your (which the hostel offers to you), then you don't see them again. The bill is all tallied up at the end, so be careful and make sure you know what you've spent. Location was good. Beds were great! Breakfast was free as well, which was also very nice.
