"Handsome David" was the best receptionist one could ever ask for. So incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. Made lovely suggestions for food and spas while also helping me book a very last minute 3-day tour. Would gladly stay here again!
The staff really make this hostel a nice stay. Nothing is too much trouble for them, especially the dapper guy in the suit! We booked a 3 day trip to Halong Bay and it really was a brilliantly organised tour and great value for the price we paid. This isn't much of a "party" hostel but for the those that like a more relaxed and discreet place to stay this is definitely the place.
Great hostel to stay, hostel price with hotel quality. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice and pretty much all you can eat, and David and Kim were excellent making it feel like a second home. Rooms are good, cleaned and you get some complimentary water and some snacks in your room day to day. Only place to stay while in Hanoi
We got upgraded to a triple which was nice. Beds were extremely comfortable with a nice big comforter and pillow. Bathroom was nice except for the shower head was pointed so that it would aim directly at the back wall instead of down and it made it very difficult to shower. Also, the tub was not the full length of the bathroom so the water would hit the wall and fall on the floor. Since we had a roommate we had to leave the key at the front desk when we would leave.
good location and helpful staff. Dorm room downstairs never seemed to be locked and often accessed by staff without a knock etc.
The staff is incredibly nice! Our luggage was lost at the airport and they put in great effort and helped us a lot in getting it back. The bathroom would get a bit wet because the toilet was not sealed well.
Excellent again second time in Hanoi, and this stay has been faultless. The staff have been excellent, and wifi speeds have improved. Breakfast is still a treat, and would highly recommend staying if you are Hanoi.
Great hostel, has two locations, both relatively well located. Staff were friendly, and extremely helpful. Gave good exchange rates (better then xe), were helpful in booking trains and flightts internally. rooms were generally clean, showers and hot water lasted quiet a while. breakfast was very good, noodles and and range to choose from. Choose a tour for ha long bay, 2D 1N. decent price and good tour. importantly they tell you where is good to eat!!! only thing internet was slow.

We only stayed in Little Hanoi hostel for one night but the services we received was impeccable. Kim and David were the most attentive staff we could have hoped for; they booked a highly successful homestay trip for us in Sapa and booked buses for us to Cat Ba Island. On our way back from Sapa they allowed us to rest and use the shower and breakfast facilities at the hostel even we arrived at 5am and were not staying another night! Could not have asked for a better introduction to Vietnam!
Kim at the front desk is the best thing to happen to hostels/hotels. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and beautiful. Breakfast is plentiful; basically all you can eat. Fruits and coffee and tea available all day. Beds quite comfortable. Hot showers. Big lockers in the dorm. Dorm is small.Fine tours available, but no pressure. Rooms cleaned thoroughly every day. Internet wasn't the best, and FB desktop and laptop versions are censored by their internet provider. The mobile version is not (yet).
The rooms were comfortable and secure. It was nice that fruit and tea/ coffee were available and free but there was no free filtered water. The location was convenient. Overall I would recommend.
More of a small hotel than a hostel, with no real opportunity for the social side of things. That said, it's a nice place and the staff were always happy to help, including making up our room at 9am after we arrived early. A bit of a walk to the main sights but only 10-15 mins.
This is a decent choice of place to stay in Hanoi. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are pretty clean and the breakfast is really good. The staff obviously work hard and a generally friendly but they are too busy for the number of clients that they deal with. Often they are too busy to listen properly to what you are staying to them and make mistakes. We had to wait for 1.5 hours at one point to be told that they didn't have the dorm bed that we requested. 2 receptionists would be better.
Overall a good stay however they do not provide a top sheet or duvet cover on the bed and the showers get cold fast and have no pressure at all. Breakfast is good, staff are friendly but there is no atmosphere at all due to the lack of a common area (it is actually a hotel, not a hostel). Overall it is good value for money.
Right in the center of Hanoi. The staff was extremely helpful, organizing the trip in halong bay at the last minute. Rooms aren't unforgettable but comfy enough for the price and clean.
Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Great location, free breakfast, socket by each bed and good atmosphere. Stayed for four nights and met some great people.
Double room was large but shower head got the entire washroom wet even with a curtain. Breakfast was good. But this wasn't really a hostel environment, not many people socializing in their common space. That being said, their staff, mainly the lady who spoke excellent English was fantastic. She helped us book our tours and flights quickly.
Mo like hotel than a hostel, would definitely stay again
Great hostel with very helpful staff, would highly recommend
