LHH let us in even before they were open (4AM!) after we got off he overnight train from Sapa. We got a free extra breakfast, hot shower, and wifi. Felt very taken care of! Excellent staffs :-)

Friendly staff, good location and comfy beds.
Great hostel. The staff are excellent and speak fluent English. Overall it's a great deal because you get a free breakfast, free fruit, coffee and tea all day, and a pretty comfortable bed to sleep on as well. I also met some really cool people during my 3 nights here.

The staff here was amazing. Kim and Dave was extremely helpful. If you had any questions or concerns they were always ready to help in anyway. The breakfast was the best so far out of all the other hostels. I did the 3 night Sapa trekking tour here, little pricey but it was worth every penny. Group was small and we got to experience the real Sapa climbing through the mountains. If I ever do come back to Hanoi, I would defiantly stay here again. - Solo Traveler
Great place, but was a bit noisy early in the morning.
More like a hotel than a hostel. The free fresh fruit all day was great. The staff were really helpful and customer focused. Kim was excellent at planning walking routes out for you to see the sights and Handsome David was always ready yo answer any questions you had.
Loved staying here, it's not a real hostel, more a hotel. Breakfast is basic, dorm was clean, and I met nice people!
This was a great hostel. They offered free breakfast with many options of hot meals. They had fruit, tea, and coffee available all the time. They let us shower there when we returned from a tour even though we were catching the train out and not staying for another night. The staff were friendly and the place was always clean! I would advise against booking tours through them though. They seem to tell you what you want to hear even if it's not the truth.
The little Hanoi hostel is an excellent place. the staff is friendly and helps out wherever needed. I slept in a three bed room as well as in a dorm. Both were fine.
Such friendly staff. Helped us with any problems that arose. Definitely recommend staying here or in one of their sister hostels. Be careful there are some with similar names!

This is not your average hostel, its more a hotel! Breakfast is amazing, you van choose from over 10 different kinds of breakfast. Fresh free fruit the whole day and super friendly staff! A must stay!
The surroundings were fantastic, the staff super friendly and informative, the people were awesome and Vietnam is the best.
I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff as unbelievably friendly and go out of their way to help to explore the city and book tours, flights, train/bus trips/ taxis. I stayed in a twin share with my friend and the room was great and bathrooms big and clean. The water is luke warm but you definitely don't need hot water in Hanoi it's hot. Air con is brilliant too! Have fun xxx
I was in Hanoi for a little over a week and this hostel was by far the best of all the hostels I stayed at in Vietnam. Kim and David go above and beyond in every single aspect, making it feel more like home than a hostel. Excellent rooms, chill atmosphere, and great value. Free tea, coffee, and fruit all day, and free breakfast every morning even if you wake up late. Could not recommend it more!
Stayed for 4 nights in July 2014. Left our bags here while on trips of Halong Bay and Sapa. Safe and secure. Initial sceptical of reviews as many people noted how helpful the staff were (we were concerned they may be pushy). This was not the case. They were very helpful in booking tickets and phoning companies and hotels for us (even though we used different tour operator than they suggested). Breakfast was good. Rooms up high stairs but that's just Hanoi Would highly recommend.
This was the most amazing hostel, it felt like we were in a hotel! The rooms were fantastic, the free breakfast, tea, coffee and fruit was really lovely and the staff were just the lovliest people, they went out of their way to help us, always were happy to see us and their English was flawless. If visiting Hanoi, you'd be mad to stay anywhere else!
Great little hostel in the heart of hanoi, really friendly welcom from dave and kim. Room was fab, kim would always make sure everyone had a breakfast, she even ordered for me! Fruit and tea free 24/7. No bar area, which actually makes for a really nice change! Glad i didnt stay in other busy hostels, its nice to come away from the partying. Have already recommended this hostel to fellow backpackers on the road. Thanks D
The staff was very friendly and generally helpful in providing information of local tour, though my mate and I were a bit let down by the boat trip at Halong Bay recommended by the receptionist. Location is good. The dorm room was clean despite that the beds are put very close to each other (we stayed in a 6-bed dorm). Breakfast provided and was good. What made me pleased was that though we had to leave very early for the flight, one of the staff still got up and prepared us brief breakfast!
Friendly relaxed staff, always willing to help and thankfully don't scream at you to do their tours. Room was clean, reasonable size with a decent shower and working air con. Would definitely stay here again.
Stay was overall excellent. Complaints: we were harassed when we were leaving for our overnight cruise at Halong Bay, even after we assured them we wanted to pay for the night we wouldn't be staying in the room. I also stayed with a good guy friend (I'm a girl). We insisted on a 2-twin bed room twice. We got shuffled around to different rooms and eventually they stuck us in room with one bed. They said they rented out the rooms with separate beds, saying it was ok since we were a couple.
